This Spring 2010, blue is IN… whether teal, sky blue, royal blue, aqua, blue green, navy, etc., feel free to wear it this coming season! Thanks to an ad from Neiman Marcus, I had the urge to finally post these photos that were taken together with the ASK MFJ Spring dress post.
I was hesitant to post these photos because I felt it lacked some oooomph. In real life though, it looked good. However, I didn’t find it too attractive in the pictures. Perhaps I was just in a hurry taking these photos that I forgot to wear some bangles. Big wooden bangles or multiple thin gold bangles would have worked with the outfit. And perhaps a belt would spice it up too. Anyhow, I still wanna share my new aqua Qi Cashmere dress that I got at the Ideeli Red Sale. Again, I got it for ZERO dollas! Yay! Thanks to all of you! Hi Dear Readers! I’m so sorry for the lack of posts. Thank God I finally have one today, and a Weekly Wear at that. I have been busy with Hubby’s dinner/party, last minute fixes at home, Dallas Auto Show, and then getting sick (still sick when Hubby took these shots). 
This afternoon, I felt better but staying up late doesn’t help. LOL. Well, I gotta get this Weekly Wear done quickly so I can get some rest.

It feels like I haven’t featured an outfit post for so long. I know the past few posts I’ve been doing are more on shopping and sales. So to keep this blog well-rounded, I’d like to share with you what I wore last night… umm… a couple of hours ago. :p
It was our dear friends’ daughter’s birthday (Happy Birthday Chasity) and we had dinner at her grandma’s house. We’re so grateful to them for always inviting us over. We feel like we’re already (sort of) part of the fam. Anyway, this is what I wore sans the coat. I didn’t intend it to be a boyish look but it turned out to be just like it. I just didn’t want to wear boots or ballet flats. So I ended up with a classic casual pair of shoes – Converse! Mind you, this is one of the “One Hundred” must-have items named by Nina Garcia in her book… and I definitely agree. It’s my go-to shoe for when I want to keep my feet happy.

How was your Valentines? Hubby and I celebrated our Valentines Date last Saturday, on the 13th. We had a lot of fun. We watched the Valentines Day movie, had Korean food, and did some home shopping… and of course, shopping for ourselves. Now we’re broke. LOL! On the other hand, we sort of had our Valentines Date Part 2 on the 14th itself. Thus, we are now more broke. Hahaha. Anyway, what I wanted to share with you today is what I wore on our Part 2 Valentine’s Date for my Weekly Wear 47.

Last Thursday was the third time that it snowed here in our area – a bit weird for Texas I must say. My friend even said that this was the first time that it snowed this heavy after 30 years. Well, it’s not as heavy as the other states in the East Coast. That’s definitely one reason why we’ve chosen Texas, but the occasional snow isn’t bad at all. It’s nice to have fun in the snow once in awhile.
That’s why this Weekly Wear, I decided to go out and take photos of the snow. After all, it’s not as cold when it is snowing as when the snow starts to settle and turns to ice. And sometimes, it’s even colder when there’s no snow but wind. Anyway, my outfit for today is Office Wear. If I were to go to work during the Winter season, this is probably what I would wear. Of course, if you have tropical weather, simply replace the coat with a blazer and instead of turtleneck sweater, go for a sleeveless top. Replace the boots with pumps or closed shoes with a bit of height.
