Last November 15, Victoria’s Secret Angels Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima among others, shot the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at Fontainebleau, Miami Beach – a first for the show. If you are wondering why Alesandra Ambrosio has been silent for the past few months… she was preggy but she’s back for the fashion show of course.
In my previous post about the Victoria’s Secret sale, I told you I just ordered the FitFlop fitness shoe! I got mine in black so I can easily where it since Victoria’s Secret only offers it in black, red, and gray. There are however metallic colors offered at macy’s but since I had a $10 off at VS, that’s where I got mine. After all, the FitFlop flip flops aren’t that cheap, sold at $49.95! So anyway, I got mine last Monday. So far, I’ve been using it as my everyday slippers to try out if it’s really an effective workout shoe as it claims to be. We’ll see if it truly gives us a workour just by walking.

They say that these fitflop shoes are great for walking as they make your legs leaner and longer… so Fashion Juice says let’s put it to the test. Once more I am obsessing on maxi dresses. For weeks now I have been going to the mall almost everyday to look for a maxi dress. It’s pretty frustrating actually… It’s like all the stores in the mall are now out of stock! The H&M in my area doesn’t have any maxi dress anymore. Walmart no longer has. The Mossimo dresses at Target have so much stock that I don’t recommend you getting any because you might end up seeing someone wearing the same dress. Nordstrom (rack) is out of maxi dresses. Macy’s have none! NY&Co near our place was closed. But the NY&Co dresses I’ve seen online weren’t my taste. I would rather find a monochromatic dress than get prints I’m not very fond of. Nevertheless, I got some $5.99 halter tops and a variety of belts, plus the red clutch from NY&Co. Forever 21 seems to have only short dresses at the time. Their sister company has one but seems weird having cargo pockets on each side of the dress. Now I found this “7 ways to wear” dress at Victoria’s Secret. But it sells at $95. Well, if you’d think about it, it’s a good buy. Think of buying 7 dresses for just $95. So I was thinking about getting that. But if I can find something else, it would be better. So I checked out Wet Seal. Although before, I had a bad impression on the shop. However, their items online seem to be okay. So I found one for almost $30. I still doubted. Thankfully, Victoria’s Secret is still having their semi-annual sale and their dresses are part of it! I know I just splurged on VS a few weeks ago, but they have a super great offer that I couldn’t resist. Their maxi dresses are priced at about $50 to $100+. However, their new offer is 2 dresses for just $50! Now who would want to resist that? I’ll show you the dresses I got once their shipped. As I mentioned in my previous post, I have recently made a hundred dollar splurge at Victoria’s Secret online… simply because they give you free shipping if you reach $100 and it’s the SEMI ANNUAL SALE… so here are some of the cutesy stuff I bought…
(1) Sexy Little Things Sparkle Lace Hiphugger – Originally $14, now $5.99 – something glamorous
(2) Eyelet cami pajama – Originally $35, now $28 – perfect jammies for the warmer months
(3) Luxury Zebra Swimwear – top originally $38, now $28; bottom originally $28, now $21 – I have been wanting this zebra print and color for months. It was expensive back then so the brown print was what I got but now it’s also on sale. Love it!
(4) Sequin Wedge Thong Sandal (which I haven’t received) – originally $25, now $19 – I got my black Colin wedge thong sandals from VS previously and it has been loyal to me. I’ve used it religiously so I am now getting a brown one… hehe!
