Apparently, Vanity Fair is featuring Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray, in their magazine. However, Miley Cyrus’s reps announced that the celebrity teen is embarassed of the photos taken by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. Below is the half naked picture that caused a stir in Hollywood. Perhaps you’d like to read her interview and view the other photos as well. During the interview/photo shoot:
Bruce Handy of Vanity Fair: Um, was Cyrus—or Disney—at all anxious about this shot?
Miley Cyrus: “No, I mean I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy.”
After the interview/photos were released:
I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” Cyrus said Sunday in a statement through her publicist. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
* Personally, I loved the photos… It showed her real beauty. The problem is, she’s only 15 and has been a role model for kids ever since her popularity. It would have been better if she had waited a few more years so she can avoid the raising eyebrows. *
