Fashionistas out there, you know our nails are as important as our outfit. Personally, I could not leave the house with ugly nails. Hehehe. But if it was an unplanned event, errand or something, I just make sure to go out with clean nails – trimmed/even nails without dry skin at the sides and no showing cuticle. But anyway, as much as possible, I make sure to polish my nails just before the weekend so I’d have presentable nails to match the outfits I’m wearing. LOL! So what are the nail polish trends this season? Check out the hottest nail colors today!

SHE’S ALL MATTE

Yup, matte nail color, not metallic, is in – especially this sultry navy color. The navy blue is edgy but has been muted down by the matte finish… making it like a velvety-kinda finish. I am actually sporting navy blue nails right now but oops – it’s metallic. Hehe. Well, maybe next time… Oh, and make sure not to apply a top coat for this kind of nail polish trend. Spring 2009 Trends

Let’s take a look at the upcoming trends this Spring 2009. Fashion Juice can’t wait to start dressing up for Spring and Summer… Though it’s also fun to wear coats and outerwear during the Fall and Winter season, I can honestly say that women’s options become limited. Well, that goes for those who experience really cold winters of course… and also goes for the ladies (like me) who can’t tolerate the cold that much. I like dressing up with those coats and hats but I can’t just tolerate the cold that well! Sometimes, you just miss wearing just a short sleeveless dress! Plus you can’t just wear any sandal or flip flops with that kind of weather! So here, I am looking forward to Spring 2009! And thankfully, we are already getting bright colored ideas for the months to come! I have been staring at that 3.1 Phillip ruffle tank dress for the past couple of days! Oh and that Marc Jacobs bag… freakishly coveting! So if you see something you like, you can get these trends at eLuxury. I will however keep on staring for the mean time until Spring 2009 actually comes.

TIPS – Stuff to keep: Motorcycle Jacket – they’re still part of the Spring 2009 trends! Also, the black boyfriend jacket/blazer trend we saw last season is back this Spring – with a transformation – get them in white!

My Vera Wang Top

I love Kohl’s simply because they carry cheap Vera Wang just like this top that I haven’t had the chance to feature in a really long time.

I’ve purchased this last July or August when I made a quick shopping trip at Kohl’s. I was surpised to see gorgeous clearance clothing from labels like Vera Wang and Daisy Fuentes among others. These two are great designers that offer cheap versions at department stores like Kohl’s.

The Denim Lounge by Nordstrom

Who loves denim? I do! Today, Nordstrom launched their Denim Lounge featuring FOUR hip Denim Designers: 7 For All Mankind, Citizens Of Humanity, Hudson Jeans, and Joe’s Jeans. These four labels feature hip and casual looks pairing denims with sexy, fun, elegant, and girly tops. Actually, the tops were what attracted me the most! I’ve selected a complete look for each of the designers they featured and these are what I recommend (Photos c/o of Nordstrom):

Sleek and Sexy

Citizens of Humanity Shrunken Knit Vest Double-breasted fleece vest with a sleek, form-fitting cut is finished with ribbed trim at the shawl collar and hem. Great for layering.
Citizens of Humanity ‘Hutton’ High Rise Wide Leg Stretch Denim Trousers (Dark Paris Wash) Dark-wash stretch denim shapes a clean-lined silhouette. Stylish wide leg is finished with a trouser hem.

Fun and Flirty
