Celebrities’ Favorite Bags of the Moment

It’s been quite sometime that we’ve talked about celebrities here. So today, I’m making up for it by featuring celebrities and their favorite bags of the moment. After all, I love bags and I’m sure a lot of ladies reading this love bags too. And while were at it, feel free to take a look at their day-to-day outfits for some fashion inspiration.

I find Emily Blunt so pretty and so girly. I picture her as a grown-up and changed (for the better) type of Blair Waldorf. She looks classy and elegant just like her Botkier “Jackie” Hobo which costs about $595. I love that she chose a pewter metallic shade because it can still look classy even if the metallic color is often associated with trendy. If you want to go for a silver metallic bag, I suggest going for a pewter shade (dark, blackish kind of silver) so you won’t look like a walking disco ball. And what’s even better is that her outfits in all three occasions were all neutrals. And notice that she didn’t have much accessories or jewelry. This will tone down the metallic bag. Great styling indeed. I love it!

Marc by Marc Jacob spring/summer totes for under $200 seems to be a very pretty good deal for a Valentines Day gift don’t you think? Your lady love will definitely enjoy a new tote to carry to the beach or to any outing this spring/summer. Affordable Holiday Gifts from Tory Burch

So as I was browsing through my emails, I find these cute sail bags from Tory Burch. The email reads, “Perfect Last Minute Gifts… There’s still time.” Yup, there’s still time to get me one of these. HAHAHA… But anyway, if you’re looking for posh designer duds as holiday gifts, this one is quite affordable… I mean in comparison to other designer brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, YSL, Fendi, etc. You know what I mean. So I decided to feature them here, and come up with a Christmas tree as well. Just wanted to greet you readers an advance MERRY CHRISTMAS… and make us all feel its spirit… hmmm… my birthday is coming up as well. HINT HINT! Hahahaha. This is such a great gift…. bwahahaha.

Anyway, the Tory Burch large sail duffle bags retail for $365 each: available in black, blue, and purple. The Tory Burch small sail totes retail for $235 each: available in purple, orange, and blue. If you ask me, I like the small orange/pink tote and the large duffle bag in red and purple. HAHAHA! I know what you’re saying… “Dream on MFJ!” Okay, was just suggesting… But hey, if you’ve got a sister, cousin, or best friend so dear to you, then this is a great gift to give them… they’ll be using this for the coming spring and summer months for sure!!!

Sunglasses Ban Because of Ray-Ban

I’m on a serious sunglasses ban after buying myself a Ray-Ban. Funny that rhymes… LOL! Cheesy! Yikes. Anyway, I am officially putting myself on sunglasses ban. This is my final sunglasses purchase for the year (crossing my fingers). I’m now satisfied with what I have. There are only two must-have sunglasses that I want to buy in the far future…

Latest Tory Burch Bags

Last June 19, 2009, I published this post (attached below) about a couple of bags I wanted to buy including the Tory Burch Jaden tote. Now, I am re-publishing this post because there is an important update (sensitive information) about one of the Tory Burch bags I’ve featured. If you’ve read this post in the past, please read this.

UPDATE: Thanks to one of the readers, Adrianna E. Riolo-Mason who left a comment in this post, I was made aware that the Tory Burch Jaden tote featured below is not actually VEGAN but Vachetta Leather. I share the same passion for animal rights. And for all those who have been following my blog, you are aware that I’ve actually been trying hard to be a Vegan myself. I’ve featured a couple of videos showing animal cruelty to convince you readers to make you aware of the cruel things happening to our animals, etc. And so, I just want to emphasize that it was in no intention of mine to mislead anyone about the bag. Sorry about the wrong information. I was actually fooled myself.

If you read the comments below, you will see her comment and my reply. I am thankful for the information she has shared and I know she is just being nice letting us all know about this bag. I just hope that I have not offended anyone (including her) with this post and hope that no one blames me for this wrong information. After all, I just took the information from Neiman’s when it was not yet posted at Tory Burch. And this is a personal blog and I am not even selling the bags here. You can blame me if I was selling the bag but I am no distributor of these bags or any other bag. I was just merely sharing the bags I WANT FOR MYSELF which I found at Neiman Marcus’ website. If you were influenced to buy the bag, it is your responsibility to know more about the item you are buying – that you have to ask whereever you are purchasing it. Of course I love to help you all so I feature bags and other items here from time to time. But I only get the information from the websites as well. You can still go to Neiman’s site and read the description there. It clearly states that it is VEGAN leather. And in fact, it even says in this post below that I was actually leaning towards buying the Tory Burch Jaden tote because I thought it’s VEGAN leather (which now I know isn’t true). But anyway, thanks again to Adrianna for clearing this up.

Miss Marc Small Tote

I heart Miss Marc totes and bags… I’m loving this affordable bag on sale at Zappos. Since I cannot make use of the plastic, any takers for this Miss Marc by Marc Jacobs tote? If I can only shop, no make it, if I only have money to shop (haha), I’d buy this right this minute! This Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is really cute and cheap selling for just $129.20!!! Just saw this at Zappos… I’m not at all advertising their site or anything. I just find this to be a great bargain. Enjoy!
