On April 2nd, we will witness the birth of the first US Top Shop boutique – in New York. Yay to New Yorkers but sad for the rest of us. Hehe. But anyway, at least that’s a good start. Or is it not? Well, perhaps a lot of Americans are deprived of Top Shop stuff – like they have to go to London just to be able to buy Top Shop stuff – thus all the hype. Lucky me, I’ve been shopping at Top Shop when I was still in the Philippines because there are a couple of branches there. That’s why I wasn’t entirely excited when Top Shop announced it was branching out here in the US. Ugh… it really pays to live in New York – the sample sales, the freebies, the accessible brands, the tourist spots, the Serendipity cafe… oh and home of Gossip Girl and other fave movies and TV shows!

I love that it actually resembles the Herve Leger dresses that I featured previously… though this dress is a loose version of those Herve’s. But that’s the beauty of it! It’s not a formal dress. It can be used any day you choose!
