Which Tory Burch Shopping Tote?

Posted on July 10th, 2009 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | 9 Comments »

The real bag hag in me got a really great idea… hahaha. :)  You know, we all have certain goals in life. And whatever they maybe, it’s good to reward yourself once you have achieved that award. Now I was just planning/thinking about the things that I want to achieve. And so to make the bag hag Fashion Juice motivated, I decided to choose a shopping tote that will motivate me in reaching my goal. So if I do reach it, I am entitled to this sweet treat… but it’s kinda hard to decide which bag to get as I am torn between two Tory Burch bags. What’s even more confusing is that I am planning to get a premiere designer shopping tote for my birthday. So I am turning to you ladies for your opinions… :)

Another bag reveal for My Fashion Juice (sort of)…

Check out the Gucci Jolicoeur Medium Tote, which again, I bought at the Gucci Summer/Spring 2009 Sale which is still ongoing. Well anyway, this bag is what I have been planning to buy for so long now. Actually, it’s the bigger one that I have been eyeing on last year. But unfortunately, someone beat me to it. The Gucci Jolicoeur Large Tote in black easily sold out…

Multi-Task Your Bags!

Posted on June 11th, 2008 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | Leave a Comment »

It’s been awhile that I haven’t posted anything… And now Fashion Juice is back! At long last, I’ve been able to breathe from a lot of work… Whew. So anyway, I’m going to talk about mult-tasking your bags. I got the idea from Bag Borrow or Steal because of the bags they have featured recently. It’s all about choosing a bag that you can carry from day to night. These bags are convertible bags that you can use as a shopping tote or day bag then make it a clutch for the evening. I have a bag of the same function, the Nine West fold over clutch. It can be carried as a clutch, but when expanded, it’s a colorful and exotic hand bag! It’s definitely a great buy. Well if you can’t understand what I’m trying to say, just check out these bags!

Introducing Goyard

Posted on April 11th, 2008 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | 2 Comments »

Handbag addiction is a scary thing indeed. Still we love to love handbags! And now, I’m sharing some of my favorite Goyard pieces. For those who aren’t familiar with the label, here’s a brief background on Goyard.

La Maison Goyard was founded in 1853 in Paris. Edmé Goyard worked as a malletier for a company then known as Maison Morel (founded in 1792), which his son, François, bought out in 1853. At that time, the company was renamed Goyard. In the past, the Grand Duke of Russia, the Maharajah de Kapurthala, The Duke and Duchess of Windsor and many aristocratic families, all travelled with Goyard luggage; and their special orders have always been an important part of Goyard’s reputation. Goyard is known for its hard-sided trunks and small accessories. All pieces are covered in a signature hand-painted patented chevron canvas made of cotton, linen, and hemp and displayed in various colors. The chevron canvas was created in 1892; and was traditionally produced in black and red. Other famous clients have included: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Madonna, Karl Lagerfeld, Gregory Peck, Pablo Picasso, Gary Cooper, Debra Messing, Kanye West, John D. Rockefeller, and Lupe Fiasco. – from Wikipedia.

I personally love the Saint Louis and Jeanne women’s handbags. I also love their steamer, jersey, and croisiere luggage bags. Croisiere is like the LV Speedy bag or the LV Keepall luggage. The size 18 or 35 of Croisiere is great for daily use… On the other hand if you’re going to need an all-around everyday bag, I suggest the Saint Louis. My favorite colors of the Saint Louis are the ones marked with a check… I know I checked a lot… hehe… If I can only afford all those… haha. Mind you, the Saint Louis GM is priced at about $1,000. More Eco-Friendly Bags…

Posted on March 17th, 2008 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | Leave a Comment »

Fashion Juice saw more eco-friendly bags at Forever 21. If I were to buy a “green” bag, I’d buy

Home Grown ToteorReduce Reuse Recycle

Why? If you’re doing this for Mother Earth, why not spread the word? Rather than just getting floral designs, get something that has a statement worth spreading! From the above two, the second bag looks nicer with the brown and white stripe handle. However, I would rather buy the first one because it’s bigger. The purpose of these eco-friendly bags are to save on plastic and paper bags. If you’re gonna use it for shopping, then the second one would defeat its purpose. It’s like using it just for the sake of POPULARITY and not for the CAUSE.

Victoria’s Secret has recently produced irresistible cute green bags. Will add a pic soon… For now, this Victoria’s Secret Pink Everyday Tote are great shopping bags too. :)
