My Love for NorthPark Center Continues

Last year, I talked about the NorthPark Center here in Dallas, Texas, and why it’s my fave mall along with Highland Park Village (Dallas, Texas) and Stony Point Mall (Virginia). But today, let me tell you that it is no longer tied with the two. It is my #1 fave mall. But anyway, to give you a refresher, you can read about my previous post about NorthPark here. First off, why is it my #1 mall? First, Highland Park Village is not really a mall but a small shopping destination of luxury goods and a couple of fancy restaurants. That’s it. If I’m looking for some cheaper shops, I won’t find it there. It’s just like a block of designer goodies. Stony Point mall is a bigger version with department stores and a few less expensive brands. However, I believe Northpark Center has it all. And they host a lot of events…

It was where I attended the “Fashion at the Park” last October 13, 2008 where I got to see Marchesa, Peter Som, and Thakoon designers!

What’s up at the Bare Escentuals Boutique in NorthPark Center (in Dallas) this week? Well it will surely be a fun day because you’ll learn a lot of make up tips care of Bare Escentuals. You’ll get to experience bareMinerals to bring out that glowing you. $50 reservation to enter the event but don’t worry because it will be credited to your future Bare Escentuals product purchase! Now that’s a great deal! The event will be this Saturday, February 28 from 10 am to 5 pm.

NorthPark Center Events: February 7

NorthPark Center is one of my favorite malls. It’s actually on my top 3 list. I was just there the previous weekend and now I’ll be coming back this weekend again. Why? They have so many events out there and there are so many shops that one can go gaga for… haha. Well, they have the best selection of stores in NorthPark! Ed Hardy, Steve Madden, Juicy Couture, Bottega Venetta, Barneys, Neimans, Saks, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Intermix, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, Cartier, Tiffany’s, etc. etc. etc… of course LV, Prada, Gucci, Balenciaga, etc are inside the big department stores I’ve mentioned above. Anyway, I’m coming back especially to check out Noka’s sampling… oooh… can’t wait. Indulgence! Hehe… and of course, I’d like to check out Barney’s for Balenciaga bags. They were on sale last time but I know the sale ended. I’ll just check the colors and styles available there so I know where to get my next possible addition to my bag collection. Before I begin sharing with you my Fashion Heaven moment (Fashion At The Park), let me share with you another great mall in Dallas, Texas. NorthPark Center hosts the annual Fashion At The Park Fashion Show. My visit to the area was earlier than expected simply because I had to go there for the fashion show. So just before the event starts at 8 PM, hubby and I were there early in the afternoon to go around NorthPark Center. Let me share with you my “delightful” experience.

Excited for Fashion At The Park

Fashion At The Park, the very first fashion show I’m going to (US)… I’m so thrilled and excited!!! I know it’s not the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York or LA (not to mention London, Paris, Milan), but who cares? I still get to see the collection up front and be able to see the designers in real life. And besides, I better start attending these fashion shows for the sake my fashion site, right?

I’m doing this not just for my love of fashion but to be able to bring to you, my readers, the latest events happening in the fashion world.
