My First Marc by Marc Jacobs

My first Marc by Marc Jacobs top/apparel ever has arrived last Friday. I was so excited and tried it on immediately. I have yet to take photos of me wearing it though. But you will certainly see it in My Fashion Juice Weekly Wear soon. I took photos right away but only managed to share it just now. I’ve been out of town and then came back drowning with projects and wasn’t feeling very well as the monthly visitor arrived. So now that I’m starting to cope, I’m sharing with you my first ever Marc by Marc Jacobs top. It’s nothing really fancy. It’s just a penny dot jersey top which I soooo love!!! I know it’s not a big deal for some of you especially those who can easily afford a Marc Jacobs item. But I’m just so happy that I finally got myself a Marc Jacobs! I adore him!

Oh this is just too funny I had to post it here… Marc by Marc Jacobs is known for its statement tees – the cutesy, childish ones – like Little Miss Marc and so on… In fact, statement tees are making a comeback what with people growing to be more liberal in terms of fashion and style. Now, it’s like people can wear almost anything they like. Lady Gaga wears what she likes to. Rihanna is another fashion forward artist who can almost get away with anything she wears. Beyonce is a budding fashionista, in my opinion. She usually gets criticized with her fashion choices but lately, she’s been shopping and shopping and being seen wearing and buying great pieces.

Now on sale they’ve got this Marc by Marc Jacobs Who Invited You Tee. Now you can make a statement when pesky neighbors/stalkers/visitors go haunting you… at work, at home, at a resto, or at a bar. LOL! I can imagine the likes of stylish icons such as Kate Moss and Agyness Deyn wearing this tee – FOR REAL! Some celebrities I can see wearing this too are the likes of Kristen Stewart, Paris Hilton (she likes childish tees too), Taylor Momsen among others… Can’t imagine yourself wearing this tee? Oh imagine this tee with this: white/cream blazer or a denim/gray/light vest or with a white/washed denim longsleeves; plus washed denim/white/black/gray shorts or skinny jeans or a bright/floral/hot pink or blue full skirt; add a fedora or a nice hat; and finally for the shoes – go with classic Doc Martens or any rugged or sexy boot depending on the bottoms you wear with this tee. Oh love it!

Ladies, head on to GILT Groupe now for the Marc by Marc Jacobs sale! I already made sure to get mine! Hahaha… again, thanks to those who joined GILT from my site… I got mine for free again. Hehe Hurry hurry ‘coz they are selling quickly!

I just got the Penny Dot Jersey Top (shown to your right) that used to be $138 which is now $54 (which of course I didn’t have to pay, THANK YOU!). I got this because it is so very Marc Jacobs – the blue, red, and white colors – the polka dots – and I can imagine this with high waisted pants or skirts – can go with white, black, denim, brown, or even khaki, creams, or even a dark red. Oh and it’s very RESORT-ish (season) when matched with white pants that go a bit wide towards the end. I’m so excited! Can’t wait to see it in person and use it in various outfits!
