Oscar De La Renta Spring 2009 Collection

Aside from Giambattista Valli, one of my fave designers would be Oscar De La Renta. I love his designs because they’re always one of the best on the Red Carpet. Remember the eggplant purple dress of Reese Witherspoon at the ‘07 Oscars? And that black dress worn by Jennifer Garner last ‘08 Oscars? So anyway, at the NY Fashion Show, Oscar de la Renta showcased his Spring 2009 collection… and… I love it! Who went to his fashion show… well big names, like Anna Wintour, Barbara Bush, Jennifer Lopez, Agyness Deyn, Barbara Walters, André Leon Talley, Aerin Lauder and Rachel Zoe were there… Check out Oscar’s line below:

Last Take on Maxi Dresses Part II

My Victoria’s Secret package has arrived this afternoon. So as promised in a previous post “Last Take on Maxi Dresses“, I will share with you the dress… that’s my excuse for posting another maxi dress subject… hehe. But anyway, I ordered 2 because of the 2 for $50 dress at VS. However, I was not able to take a picture but I already tried it on. It’s so cute! Just check out the picture below. Actually, I wanted something else. But they were running out of stock. And perhaps they’re just clearing out their inventory because once the sale was finished, they already have new maxi dresses online. I was hesitant with the blue and white dress simply because the print isn’t really something unique but it was cute in person What do you think?

And if you’re not yet convinced that maxi dresses are the “in” thing, here are some celebrities donning the maxi dress style. From left to right downwards, celebs like Nicole Ritchie, Jessica Simpson, Nicole Ritchie again, Kate Hudson, Kristen Bell, Carrie Underwood, Eva Mendes, Jennifer Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Kylie Minogue, and Paris Hilton are donning the maxi dress. I love Nicole Ritchie’s dresses, Lindsay Lohan’s, Kirsten Bell’s and Paris Hilton’s dress.
