Above, I was braving the cold and wind… wore a shirt-dress/swimsuit cover-up from K.A.T., thanks to Lush Angel, Forever 21 motorcycle jacket, Bench (Philippines) skinny jeans, Dolce Vita lace up sandals, H&M hat, Goyard St. Louis PM, multiple silver rings from Forever 21, white gold jewelry, and brought along my winter bubble jacket from Ralph Lauren.

So after awhile, I could no longer bear the cold. I had to wear my makes-me-look-like-a-marshmallow-man-bubble jacket. LOL!

And above I present to you my super cute niece Isabelle – we are both bundled up!

NBA: Mavericks vs Suns @ American Airlines, Dallas, Texas

In case you plan on watching an NBA game or whatever event there is here at American Airlines, make sure to drop by the AT&T Center (front center outside of the stadium) and get your free coffee from Community Coffee. It was the first thing we did after parking because it was really cold!!! LOL!

Here I’m wearing a Victoria’s Secret tank top underneath, H&M shirt in blue to support the Dallas Mavericks (Go Mavs!), Forever 21 dark skinny jeans, Wilson brown leather jacket, Gucci scarf, Longchamp Le Pliage medium shopping tote, Philippe Charriol jewelry and watch, Forever 21 bracelets, Juicy Couture bangles, and Celine brown boots I got way back in the Philippines.

Oh, and I’m also wearing my fake eyelashes!!! Woohoo!

Stonebriar Mall @ Frisco, Texas

So of course I had to check out the after holiday sales at the mall… LOL! Not really. I was just there killing time before we go to my Post-Birthday dinner with friends. And of course I dropped by Sephora to pick up my birthday gift and got some liquid hand soap from Bath & Bodyworks for our home.

I’m wearing another sleeveless shirt dress from K.A.T. c/o Lush Angel, Forever 21 black coat, Forever 21 belt, Forever 21 denim, Bass suede boots, Calvin Klein hat, and my Goyard St. Louis PM bag.

I’m easily pleased. Too easy… This boyfriend look just makes me smile. I know. It’s too simple but it’s also too chic. It’s something I can wear any day, each day! I just love boyfriend blazers and jackets and boyfriend jeans… And I love that Piperlime used pumps here. It is so chic. I imagine the red soles of Louboutin’s and it will be ultra fab (Dream on Cris)! Prepare the boyfriend jackets, ladies! Soon it’s Fall.

Since it was a lazy afternoon and knowing that we’ll be spending the rest of it by the pool, watching TV, and drinking alcohol (haha), I wanted to dress up relaxed and a bit boyish as it seems. I decided to break in my Fashion’s Night Out tee and an old pair of jeans that my Sis-In-Law in MD handed down to me (thank you).

I just tried some DIY denim-distressing on my own even if I didn’t really watch/listen to any of the “How To Distress Your Jeans” video. It was a failure but I kinda liked how it looked. I used sandpaper at first but seeing that it will take me hours, I just cut, ripped, and used a metal nail pusher to pull out those threads and voila… hahaha!

We then headed to a nearby grocery, Super Target, to get some drinks. On the way, I took shots of the sunset which quickly turned into a huge full moon when we arrived at the grocery. I should have used the other camera but the small point and shoot was handy.

On the way back I was riding the shopping cart… haha! Here I wore my T-shirt with the faux leather vest. Hubby thinks I look like a rocker. Well, I actually do… haha!

Everything coming down the runway cost no less than $1,400! Yup! The shirts are $1,500, jeans are $1,500, jackets are $5,000. And I’ve seen Fergie wearing the jeans already (or was it just something similar? I think it’s from Habitual but the style is very similar). Other celebrities are wearing Balmain too (I just couldn’t remember at the top of my head). I know Jennifer Connelly wears a lot of Balmain these days too. Oh, if only they weren’t that pricey. Surely they are only for the wealthy… or perhaps for those fashionable women who don’t spend their money on anything else but clothes.

Well, I just had to share the Balmainia going on in today’s fashion world. It surely is a powerful force that even today’s credit crisis can’t knock down. In fact, the house of Balmain even claims this season to be their best so far… and they even have long waiting lists for their stuff. Wow! Is there like a drug that comes along with each Balmain clothing? Hehe. But really, they say it’s their rock ‘n roll, sexy, trashy, but glamorous style that takes the fashionista’s breath away.
