Ever since I learned about Hunter Boots, I fell in love… And so when I had the chance to get it for just $39 at Ideeli (I have shopping credits with them but it was sale for about $50++), I grabbed the opportunity. So what’s the deal of the day? I’d say the Hunter Boots on sale at Ideeli! You won’t believe the prices of their Hunter festival boots. They are on sale for just $54 but the original price of those Hunter boots are actually $145! See the big discount? And because I have some credits remaining at Ideeli (again, many thanks to those who joined through my invites/links), I’ve finally gotten my own Hunter boots. However, I wasn’t able to get the black that I wanted because the black one they have on sale has big red and black stripes on the side. I was a bit hesitant so I just went for the safer brown one. After all, I’m just going to use it during rainy days and when doing outdoor activites (Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park, here I come)! Pardon the ignorance but I only learned about Hunter Boots this year, during my feature on Uma Thurman’s cover for InStyle magazine. She wore Hunter boots in one of her shots there.
I actually liked it on her but didn’t know much about it until I saw the boots at Kitson’s – a Celebrity online shop! I like the color she was wearing – like a beige or tan color. It really matched her outfit. So anyways, as I was recently reading another magazine at home, I saw the boots again worn by another celeb. So I figured perhaps a lot of you still don’t know about it and want to share with you these great boots for the rainy and snow-y days of the year. I’ll probably get one next year. Oh and by the way, they also have Welly Socks – I like! I’ll surely get that once I buy my Hunter Boots. On the other hand, I’m also waiting for Henri Bendel’s to replenish their Welly Boots. So by the time I buy, if Bendel’s has them already, I’ll have another big problem. Haha!

For me, Uma Thurman is a very lovely lady and stylish at that. She’s looking better than ever for a woman nearing her 40s! Just take a look at these lovely photos from InStyle Magazine and you’ll know what I’m talking about. Too bad Ethan Hawke dumped her for their nanny. Now, she’s happily engaged to a super rich Swiss financier, Arpad Busson. But the good thing is, Ethan and Uma are in good terms now. Uma looks finally happy and fulfilled.
