So as I was browsing through my emails, I find these cute sail bags from Tory Burch. The email reads, “Perfect Last Minute Gifts… There’s still time.” Yup, there’s still time to get me one of these. HAHAHA… But anyway, if you’re looking for posh designer duds as holiday gifts, this one is quite affordable… I mean in comparison to other designer brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, YSL, Fendi, etc. You know what I mean. So I decided to feature them here, and come up with a Christmas tree as well. Just wanted to greet you readers an advance MERRY CHRISTMAS… and make us all feel its spirit… hmmm… my birthday is coming up as well. HINT HINT! Hahahaha. This is such a great gift…. bwahahaha.

Anyway, the Tory Burch large sail duffle bags retail for $365 each: available in black, blue, and purple. The Tory Burch small sail totes retail for $235 each: available in purple, orange, and blue. If you ask me, I like the small orange/pink tote and the large duffle bag in red and purple. HAHAHA! I know what you’re saying… “Dream on MFJ!” Okay, was just suggesting… But hey, if you’ve got a sister, cousin, or best friend so dear to you, then this is a great gift to give them… they’ll be using this for the coming spring and summer months for sure!!!

Texas Tax-Free Weekend

Everything is BIG in Texas and so on August 21st to 23rd you can SHOP BIG as well! It’s the annual Tax-Free weekend. So you better take advantage of it! Texas shoppers get a break from state and local sales taxes on the state’s annual tax holiday! Shoppers save about $8 on every $100 they spend on most clothing, backpacks, and footwear priced under $100.

For those who don’t know, a little information on Texas taxes…

The Texas state sales and use tax rate is 6.25%, but local taxing jurisdictions (cities, counties, special purpose districts, and transit authorities) may also impose sales and use tax up to 2% for a total maximum combined rate of 8.25%. Most of the other states follow a similar system except for the 12 states below…

Holiday Vacation

Today, we are officially on Holiday Vacation! We’re all set to go visit our family and friends in California, and spend our Christmas and New Year there. So, dear Fashion Juice readers, an early toast! Don’t worry though coz I have prepared my daily post ahead of time, just for you! Oh, I also have some great shopping finds I wanted to feature but I guess I will have to do it when I get back. It involves some $90 Gucci sunglasses and $11 Badgley Mischka hat!
