My Dream Bag Closet

Posted on December 15th, 2009 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | 3 Comments »

Sorry if I haven’t been updating much. Last Sunday was such a fun event at the Eagles Canyon Raceway. As I’ve always mentioned, Hubby loves cars. He loves track days. Last December 13 was one of those Charity/Fundraiser track events. We get to donate toys/canned goods/cash for kids in need to be able to run/race. It’s not really a race, but you know… seat time (as they call it)… to practice… test their cars… time their cars, etc. It was so much fun watching. I wasn’t able to ride this time though. There were a lot of cars out there, especially the ones who are new to track or to the ECR track. So they didn’t allow passengers this time around. Anyway, too much intro already, let’s get back to the topic: My Dream bag closet!

Thanks to DailyFashionista, I got to learn about Jamie Cuaca’s bag closet – okay, this is just a tiny part of it… something that I wish I could have. Duh? in another life, perhaps… LOL!

My Dear Friends in the Philippines, especially the bag hags in Manila, there is so much to celebrate!!! Hermes is coming to town. I believe rumors have been spreading since last year that Hermes will be coming to the Philippines. But now, it’s finally confirmed!!! Watch out for Hermes just across the Louis Vuitton in Greenbelt, Makati. Oh mee gazzz!!!

Now when will it be Chanel’s turn??? Just a few more stores and I can totally say that you can have everything in the Philippines… seriously! I love my home country whatever the other people might say. I’m a proud Filipino! I should definitely feature all the great things that one can experience when they travel to the Philippines: the beaches, the travel spots, the shopping, the food, the nightlife, the alcohol, and of course the beautiful and hospitable people. And I’m sure one post is not enough to feature them all… and now, we have HERMES!

Enjoy,

Hermes Enamel Necklace I like

Posted on July 24th, 2009 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | 2 Comments »

Hahaha… I know it’s been non-stop Hermes. This one is the last, I promise (for now). To match the Hermes enamel bracelets, why not get this Hermes Enamel necklace? Okay maybe not… this really isn’t a must-have and it’s becoming too matchy-matchy – which shouldn’t be… In fashion there aren’t rules… you can go with anything as long as you can carry it… don’t let the clothes wear you! You and your attitude will bring out the best in what you’re wearing. See, a confident-looking lady with good posture wearing a shirt and jeans is far better than a shy and slouchy woman wearing the same outfit. At the same time, adding key accessories will certainly up the difference between the two. You can go with a pricey belt such as Hermes but you can also simply add a cheap scarf from the thrift store and you’d bring instant glam to the shirt-denim match.

Well, you can add this too… the Hermes Enamel necklace. But to avoid doing matchy-matchy stuff, you can wear it without the enamel bracelets. Well you can certainly wear both as long as your outfit doesn’t look too/overly coordinated – it takes out the fun and adventure in style. Remember, you are your own artist. You are your own muse. You are a work of art. Okay, I digress too much. Just check out this Hermes enamel necklace I would love to have… I’d like to get the Ivory or the Orange. For $330, at least it’s not as pricey as the bracelets. Hehe :)

Must Have: Hermes Belt

Following my recent arm candy want is another must-have accessory from Hermes. I know… these are some of the luxury things that most people would say are very impractical… ($570 for a belt) but in my opinion, a true fashionista sees the value in this Hermes belt. Seriously, it’s an investment. This is one of the accessories that you can buy once and enjoy a lifetime. In fact, if you’re keen with your personal belongings, you might even be able to pass it on to your kids when they grow up. You can wear a cheap thrift find or vintage dress and sass it up with this belt. You can wear a Walmart white shirt or tee and denim shorts or pants but you’ll look super chic when you add this belt to that outfit.

Well, this is the one that I like… I’m getting it in black/orange. This Hermes belt is reversible so you can wear it with your blacks, grays and browns or even brights and whites! Hay… I love. :)

Arm Candy I Want

Posted on July 24th, 2009 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | 4 Comments »

The best arm candy I must say, are these lovely enamel bracelets, we’ll just call them bangles, from Hermes. I want one now! Okay, I can’t have it yet since we’re getting a house. But I may be adding this to my birthday splurge. Hahaha… :) I just need to wait for 5 more months (hay)! Any sponsors? Bwahahaha! :)

Well, these bracelets are available in many other colors and also in silver hardware. These seven colors however, are the Hermes enamel bracelets I like. I also like the red one (so make that eight) in gold hardware but I can’t find it in their site. I know they have it coz I’ve seen a celebrity wearing it. Anyway, I know these bracelets are a bit pricey, but I 100% recommend this as a Fashionista Must-Have! It is an investment ladies and I encourage you to save up on these. Even Nina Garcia recommends it (perhaps Rachel Zoe too). Hermes keeps its simple yet classy. I would love to have all these colors (okay maybe just 4 or 5 of these Hermes bangles, haha) before I die… haha… drool… I <3 Hermes!

L’Hélicoptère par Hermès

Hermès helicopter? This maybe old news to some, but for those who haven’t heard, the luxury label Hermès (makers of the Queen of all bags, the Birkin) has collaborated with Eurocopter (helicopter producers) with the very first SIX-MILLION DOLLAR helicopter, L’Hélicoptère par Hermès. The concept was released back in 2007 but it was only last May that the first ever L’Hélicoptère par Hermès landed… in Abu Dhabi. Click the photo courtesy of Luxist.com to learn more.

Happy Happy Birthday to our dear friend (brother, hehe) Arvin! :)

Yesterday and today, we continue with 2009 Fall Fashion Shows in Paris. So who’s up at the Runway? Here’s the list:

  • Louis Vuitton
  • Chloé
  • Collette Dinnigan

Okay, a big emphasis on Hermès! We all know how the Hermès bags are truly the Queen of all bags. But have you given their RTW a thought? Well, I for one have rarely looked at their RTW since I have always been focusing on their bags (haha). But today, I thought why not check them out? So let’s take a look at the Paris Fashion Show Fall 2009, featuring Hermès!
