As we all know, Leighton Meester who plays Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl goes to Paris with BFF Selena Vanderwoodsen (Blake Lively) for Season 4 of Gossip Girl. EEK! I can’t wait. Paris and Gossip Girl? It’s gonna be another fashion-filled TV drama! I love it. And to give us a sneak peek, here’s one of Blair Waldorf’s outfits! The beret, the prints and the colors – oh so French! And I want those two Chanel cuffs she’s wearing and the bag she’s carrying. I would definitely wanna raid Gossip Girl’s closet!

Gossip Girl Meets Vampire Diaries

One of my favorite shows as of late is Vampire Diaries. Thanks to my youngest brother-in-law who recommended the popular show, Hubby, the other B-I-L and I are now all fans.

Do you know that there are a lot more viewers of Vampire Diaries than Gossip Girl. I was shocked learning this fact. But it’s true.

Still, one cannot take away the fact that both CW TV shows, Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries are hit series of today. Blair, Chuck, Serena, Dan, Nate and Jenny make the Gossip Girl show a hit. On the other hand, thanks to Elena, Stefan, and Damon, Vampire Diaries are getting more and more viewers each week. Some say one factor that makes Vampire Diaries a big hit is because it’s like the TV version of the hit movies “Twilight” and “New Moon”. There’s the beautiful lady that needs saving (Elena) and there’s the handsome vampire in love with a mortal (Stefan).

Going back, CW is planning a switch-a-roo. Nina Dobrev, star of The Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester will switch it up heading to one another’s shows shaking it up as guest stars. It’s gonna be Vampire Girl meets the Upper East Side and vice versa. What do you think?

Lady Gaga Guest on Gossip Girl

You’ll see Lady Gaga on Gossip Girl this November 16. So you better watch out. The episode of Gossip Girl she’s guesting is entitled “The Last Days of Disco Stick.” Hmmm… This is awesome – one of my fave TV shows – Gossip Girl + one of my fave artists/singers – Lady Gaga all in one! Don’t forget to set an alarm dearies! This is an episode we shouldn’t miss. And of course, MFJ won’t pass out on criticizing the outfit Lady Gaga is wearing.

I’m glad she’s all covered up. But the pasties on top of the dress? Hmm… is she trying to start another trend? Oh and even if you can’t see it in this photo, that dress is actually thirty feet in length!!! WOW! Enough of the pants-less trend! Well, let’s just wait and see, shall we?

Gossip Girl Fashion: Leighton Meester

Yesterday I criticized one of the Gossip Girl ladies… Today, I’m praising another. Talk about favoritism… LOL! Well, let’s put it this way. Blake Lively is beautiful and hot. Sure she looks great in her clothes. As for Leighton Meester, I like how she’s a risk-taker… a fashion-forward and beautiful lady. Sure she made some pretty awful choices (oh goodness the Louis Vuitton red paisley leggings disaster at the MET Gala), but most of the time, I want to rob her of her clothes! LOL! She is fashionable.

I so love that outfit she’s wearing on the top right. It is so NOW! I can’t wait to see that in this season’s Gossip Girl… the moto jacket, the black strappy boots, mixed with a girly dress and a neutral bag – oh she looked like a doll especially with the curls and the dark red lips.

And of course, I so love that red outfit in the middle. If you’ve seen the latest Gossip Girl, she was wearing that outfit… It’s so CLASSY!!! The left most picture with the periwinkle/lavender colored ruffle top is so dainty! Love it. If I’m not mistaken the skirt is from Marc by Marc Jacobs. Blair Waldorf, her character, uses a lot of Marc by Marc Jacobs pieces in Gossip Girl.

And take a look at the super hot photos of Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf for Elle Korea… Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick do make a great and stylish couple, no? This is one hot fashion spread! I love all their outfits here! The dress in the middle is so fierce and sexy without being trashy or vulgar! The first one mixes girly (pleats) with a tough look. Oh and that purple jacket and purple and pink dress… you’ll usually think it’s too girly to wear a pink and purple dress but here it just looks fabulous, elegant, royalty, etc. etc. etc… no hint of Barbie look-a-like at all!!! Love everything! I know I’m biased but I just adore Leighton and her fashion statement. Check more of her outfits at Gossip Girl!
