My Christmas Goodies

Even though it’s only the 24th, I have already received early Christmas gifts / Birthday presents from dear friends and loved ones… like they say in Tagalog/Filipino, these are the “katas ng Pasko” that I already got. So I just wanted to share it with you all and take the time to thank all of you for the wonderful presents, be it tangible or not.

My Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law who are staying with us got me a Gift Card from one of my favorite stores… Forever 21! They gave it to me early so I can shop prior to Christmas. I was surprised when it arrived in the mail yesterday when I only ordered it last Monday night. I didn’t notice that they were offering free overnight shipping for the Holidays. WEEEE!!! So here are the stuff that I got care of Anthony & Claudine. Thanks guys!

Affordable Holiday Gifts from Tory Burch

So as I was browsing through my emails, I find these cute sail bags from Tory Burch. The email reads, “Perfect Last Minute Gifts… There’s still time.” Yup, there’s still time to get me one of these. HAHAHA… But anyway, if you’re looking for posh designer duds as holiday gifts, this one is quite affordable… I mean in comparison to other designer brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, YSL, Fendi, etc. You know what I mean. So I decided to feature them here, and come up with a Christmas tree as well. Just wanted to greet you readers an advance MERRY CHRISTMAS… and make us all feel its spirit… hmmm… my birthday is coming up as well. HINT HINT! Hahahaha. This is such a great gift…. bwahahaha.

Anyway, the Tory Burch large sail duffle bags retail for $365 each: available in black, blue, and purple. The Tory Burch small sail totes retail for $235 each: available in purple, orange, and blue. If you ask me, I like the small orange/pink tote and the large duffle bag in red and purple. HAHAHA! I know what you’re saying… “Dream on MFJ!” Okay, was just suggesting… But hey, if you’ve got a sister, cousin, or best friend so dear to you, then this is a great gift to give them… they’ll be using this for the coming spring and summer months for sure!!!

Rue La La’s 24 Gifts for Her and 21 Gifts for Him

First and foremost, I find it funny that Rue La La came up with 24 gifts for the ladies and only 21 gifts for the men. What’s up with that? Hahaha. Perhaps there are just so many material things that WOMEN want? But hey, MEN want a lot of things too, you know? And correct me if I’m wrong, the things that MEN want are usually more expensivo.

In general, women love to shop more than men do. But the things men want – cars, gadgets, outdoor stuff, etc. They are far expensive than those stuff women can shop. Buy us ladies a $5 accessory and we’re already happy (let’s put the Birkin’s, Cartier’s, Bulgari’s, Chanel’s, LV’s, etc. aside for a moment, LOL). But guys… man, we need to really save up for you. Haha. Well, not that you’re not happy with collared shirts or board shorts that ladies can easily buy you. But it’s not like we’re going to give you a shirt every time, right? Whenever I buy Hubby a shirt or something, I have to hide it from him. Because if he sees me buying, he’ll tell me not to and to just save the money to buy upgrades for his car. Yup, that’s my Hubby. He loves cars and he doesn’t really care what he’s wearing or if his hair is already growing long and all messed up… or if he needs new belts or shoes… or… the list goes on and on. When it comes to shopping, the only thing he wants is for his car… or some techy/gadget stuff like a brand new 50″ or bigger HDTV, preferably LED… or an Alienware laptop (that he’s wishing to get next when his laptop retires)… and so on and so forth.

But of course it still depends on the person… and besides, it’s the thought that counts. Just make sure you’re giving something nice that can actually be used.
