bareMinerals Get Started for Lips, Eyes, Cheeks

At long last, bareMinerals came up with a Get Started kit for Lips, Eyes, and Cheeks! Thank goodness because that’s what I’ve been waiting for! You know they have tons of makeup products and I don’t have the time to learn them all. I’m pretty sure the same goes for most of you ladies… I mean, we have other things to think of… we have work to do or lessons to study, not to mention dealing with personal stuff. We have other work on the side, other hobbies to do, exercise, shop, cook, or whatever extra curricular activities we’re into. So having to learn which makeup to use, how to use bareMinerals, or what powder to use with what, is a pain. Thanks to Bare Escentuals, they’ve come up with bareMinerals Get Started Kit for lips, eyes, and cheeks! Yay! I can’t wait to get one soon! Oh and they’re only $49. Yay!

How To: Apply Eye Liner

Probably the first question on your mind, why do you need an eye liner? Eye liners add that dazzle to your eyes in just a matter of seconds!

What color to use? For blondes, red head, or light brown hair, use a brown shade. If you have dark brown to black hair, a black eyeliner will do you good.

With or without eye shadow? You can put eye liner with or without the eye shadow. But if you are wearing an eye shadow, it’s highly suggested you put on eye liner!

How to use a liquid liner? Make sure your brush has a thin coat of the liquid liner. You may stroke it over the opening a few times to minimize the liquid on the tip of the brush. Infront of the mirror, tilt your head back. Hold the brush with your pinkie on your cheek to ensure stability. Keep your mouth slightly open. It may sound funny but it will help you relax your facial muscles so you are less likely to blink!

How to use a pencile eyeliner? Make sure to sharpen the pencil to make the tip as thin as possible. Place the tip as close to your lashline as possible, along the most inner part of the upper lid near the nose.

Where to apply? With a thin stroke, apply the eye liner to the inner corner of your eye’s upper lash line all the way to the outer corner. If you want to put eye liner on the lower lashes, make it very light. Heavy lines on the lower lashes shows an un-natural effect on your eyes – like that of an owl.

How to apply eyeliner at the lower lash line? If you want to line the lower lash, ONLY use an eyeliner pencil to make it very light. Put the pencil mid point at the outer lower lash line all the way to the outer corner.

Fashion Juice Tip:
Do not line the entire lower lash line if you don’t have big eyes.
