I Love the World

Don’t you just love the world? I do. So if you’re with me, let’s all be environmentally conscious. This post is a tribute to Mother Earth…
Recycle.
Please keep all your paper, plastic bottles, glass, and metal in a separate trash bin for recycling. That’s what we’ve been doing now in our new home. I always keep a separate trash can for the recyclables so no one gets lazy to throw those recyclables with the rest of the garbage.
Reuse.
Don’t throw those plastic bags. You can use them as trash bags inside the bathroom or other rooms instead of buying garbage bags in the grocery. At the same time, you can use them when traveling or going on a road trip. Use them as a shoe bag or dirty clothes bag or to simply put your baon (food you bring along the trip). Also, I reuse those plastic trays that come along with the Nissin Chow Mein… hehe… I use them to put those sponges/scrubs for cleaning the dishes or cleaning the bathroom. At the same time, if you buy those Hillshire Farm deli – they come with those tupperware/plastic containers which you can reuse. We use them to store leftovers or crackers or nuts and bolts or whatever stuff (or butingting) you have. Of course just clean them up.
Reduce.
Every little bit counts. Try to conserve water. When you wash your hands, turn the faucet off while you lather the soap. When taking a shower, turn it off when you shampoo or rub your body. Turn off lights that aren’t being used. Try to reduce use of paper towels or tissue. Go paperless when it comes to your bills – just make sure to set an alarm/alert/notification in your phone, email, or computer when your bill is up. Unplug devices that aren’t being used since they consume energy.
There are many other things that you can do to show that you love the world… to conserve our world… to make this place a better place… So why am I suddenly talking about the environment? Well, you should watch this video from Discovery Channel and you will be inspired like I was.
Hehe…
