I’ve heard great things about the Twisted Root. And I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t tried it yet. So hopefully this weekend, I’ll be able to drop by… I’m excited. It’s in Deep Ellum* here in Dallas, Texas!!! Weee!!! Know more about Deep Ellum below.

The Shecky’s Girls Night Out in Dallas last October 30, 2009 was such a success!!! I’m telling you it really was. The place was filled with ladies and there was even a waiting line outside the building!!! Outside the building all the way near the sidewalk… honest to goodness!!! I will talk about it more on another post. But for now, let me show you the amazing swag bag that is the Shecky’s Goodie Bag…

There were tons of goods to enjoy… hair treatments, hair color, sweetener samples, cocktail recipes, energy drinks, chips (not shown coz we already munched on them, LOL), hair accessories care of Goody, Jesse McCartney CD, Wake Up meds (for after party hangover), eye drops, women’s shave, novels, pads, Colgate Wisps (ooh I love this disposable toothbrush for travel), lubricant (my Brother-In-Law’s favorite, LOL), nail stick-ons, whitening toothpaste, apple pies, neutrogena colored/tinted lip gloss, and best of all… LINDT chocolates – one of my favorite brands of chocolate!!! Although the Pistachio flavor I like wasn’t included but that’s fine. Any Lindt chocolate is fine. Love it.

Would you go to Chris Brown’s Concert

Chris Brown is performing at Palladium Ballroom in Dallas this November 15. Just curious, would you go? I’m not entirely sure but this event looks like his first performance / concert after the Rihanna incident. Tempting? He is certainly a great performer / artist. So the question is, will you support or ditch him after everything that happened? If you ask me I don’t really care watching him as long as he gives us a good show. His personal life is his personal life. I do not approve of what he did but it doesn’t take away the fact that he has talent and has a lot of hit songs. What do you think?

My Love for NorthPark Center Continues

Last year, I talked about the NorthPark Center here in Dallas, Texas, and why it’s my fave mall along with Highland Park Village (Dallas, Texas) and Stony Point Mall (Virginia). But today, let me tell you that it is no longer tied with the two. It is my #1 fave mall. But anyway, to give you a refresher, you can read about my previous post about NorthPark here. First off, why is it my #1 mall? First, Highland Park Village is not really a mall but a small shopping destination of luxury goods and a couple of fancy restaurants. That’s it. If I’m looking for some cheaper shops, I won’t find it there. It’s just like a block of designer goodies. Stony Point mall is a bigger version with department stores and a few less expensive brands. However, I believe Northpark Center has it all. And they host a lot of events…

It was where I attended the “Fashion at the Park” last October 13, 2008 where I got to see Marchesa, Peter Som, and Thakoon designers!
