Gossip Girl Meets Vampire Diaries

One of my favorite shows as of late is Vampire Diaries. Thanks to my youngest brother-in-law who recommended the popular show, Hubby, the other B-I-L and I are now all fans.

Do you know that there are a lot more viewers of Vampire Diaries than Gossip Girl. I was shocked learning this fact. But it’s true.

Still, one cannot take away the fact that both CW TV shows, Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries are hit series of today. Blair, Chuck, Serena, Dan, Nate and Jenny  make the Gossip Girl show a hit. On the other hand, thanks to Elena, Stefan, and Damon, Vampire Diaries are getting more and more viewers each week. Some say one factor that makes Vampire Diaries a big hit is because it’s like the TV version of the hit movies “Twilight” and “New Moon”. There’s the beautiful lady that needs saving (Elena) and there’s the handsome vampire in love with a mortal (Stefan).

Going back, CW is planning a switch-a-roo. Nina Dobrev, star of The Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester will switch it up heading to one another’s shows shaking it up as guest stars. It’s gonna be Vampire Girl meets the Upper East Side and vice versa. What do you think?

Taylor Momsen’s Goth Style

For those of you who aren’t still familiar with the name Taylor Momsen, she is little Jenny Humphrey of the hottest CW TV series today, Gossip Girl. Jenny Humphrey is that charming little sister of Dan. She usually dons dresses, skirts, and pastels. So it would actually surprise you that in real life she prefers gothic style. Just like in this Joan Jett-inspired ensemble. According to Taylor, she is loving Alexander Wang’s and D&G’s edgy styles. Well perhaps it’s part of Jenny Humphrey’s transformation in Gossip Girl? We will soon find out. Can’t wait for the next Gossip Girl this Monday.

Guess Who’s Coming To Town on September 3!

If you’re a fashionista at heart, yes, you’re guess is probably right… America’s Next Top Model season premiere is coming this September 3 8/7c. Aren’t you guys excited? Well well, in the two hour premiere – CW has already revealed the fourteen finalists of the new season. And for the eleventh time they sound stellar.
Eight of the fourteen finalists are 19 years old, the perfect age for not getting along with other girls you’re forced to live with, especially with no media to entertain you. The oldest contestant, Joslyn, is only 23. Tyra Banks is even throwing two Europeans into the bunch. Elina, 19, hails from the Ukraine and needs to win because she really needs a job. Why bother with annoying résumés when there’s the ANTM safety net? Also 19, Marjorie hails from Marseille and is currently a student in San Francisco.
