Beauty: Chanel Tokyo Happening

The warmer months of the year simply beg us fashionistas to try out various colors and bright colors at that.

You’ve probably heard that the latest fashion in nails are the pastel chalk colors just like what Serena Van Der Woodsen of Gossip Girl fame was wearing in the Season’s Finale. Look to your right and click on the image to see what I’m talking about. The photo I found was too small. But if you watched the finale of Gossip Girl, when Dan took Serena out from jail to attend their prom and Serena was dressing up inside the cab, you would have noticed her pastel chalk nail polish. So anyway, pastel colors are hot right now and that includes makeup. In fact, Chanel just released their new line of pastel makeup colors, Chanel Tokyo Happening.

I’m happy to share with you that Chanel is one of the brands recognized for their outstanding makeup and fragrance in the CEW Beauty Awards. Their two products nominated are none other than the two stuff that I use: (1) the Exceptionnel De Chanel Intense Volume and Curl Mascara (I received one from Allure as one of their testers), and (2) the Chanel No5 Eau Premiere (birthday present from my Hubby *mwah*).

Redken Hair Products

Here is a beauty product that I own and use that I would like to share, Redken. Redken is my fave brand when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. I decided to feature it after hearing about the brand winning a couple of awards last June during the 2008 Stylist Choice Awards for the Hair and Salon Industry.
