Free Bare Escentuals Foundation

The free Bare Escentuals foundation is back… along with the mini kabuki brush. Yay! This offer is available at Sephora. So if you’re buying something in their online store, add it to your shopping cart and it won’t cost you a thing. If however you are near a Sephora boutique, simply drop by and ask any of the sales associates if you can get a sample of the Bare Escentuals foundation. I was at North East Mall awhile ago, so I made a quick trip to Sephora. I simply asked if they have the samples available and they gave me one! Yay! Now I have another container of foundation and an extra mini kabuki brush. I gave my extra last time to Lush Angel. I haven’t used up my first free foundation since I only use it on weekends. Now I have two more containers… Yay! I don’t have to rush buying the starter kit. Haha. Thanks to Sephora! April 22 is Earth Day!

Today is Earth Day! Help Fashion Juice promote earth day by choosing products that are earth-friendly! So how can you tell if the product is earth friendly? Thanks to JCPenney’s Simply Green, we are able to distinguish what products we can buy to help Mother Earth.

#1, buy Organic products! Organic refers to a fiber, either cotton or linen, that is grown without pesticides or synthetic fertililzers, thus promoting a cleaner environment. To be labeled as organic, an item must use a minimum content of 70% organically grown fiber.

#2, it should be renewable. Renewable refers to a natural product that regenerates at a rate equal to or faster than its rate of consumption. Renewable resources include bamboo, soy, Forest Stewardship Council wood products and capiz shells. To be labeled as renewable, a product must be made from at least 25% renewable materials. Using renewable items helps preserve our natural world.

#3, if the item is recycled, go ahead and buy it! Recycled refers to reclaimed resources from fabric mills and post-consumer recycled items. Recycled cotton is made from reclaimed cotton left over after the spinning, weaving and cutting process. Recycled polyester is made from discarded plastic bottles. Recycled polyester and recycled glass save energy, reduce demand for raw materials and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. To be labeled as recycled, a product must contain at least 25% recycled materials.
