The mass retailer does it again. Target is now featuring Anya Hindmarch, the UK designer who made the phenomenon “I’m not a plastic bag” shopping tote. Can you believe it? Anya Hindmarch to create gorgeous handbags for Target which will cost $50 or less? I LOVE TARGET PERIOD!!! Seriously… I am so thankful for Target. I’m sure fashionistas will feel the same. Starting October 12 until December of 2008, exclusive Anya Hindmarch bags will be sold at Target in the USA. Take note, Anya’s bags sold out in the UK in 2 minutes. Did you read that clearly? TWO MINUTES. She offered a Pre-sale last Wednesday in her website. And after 2 minutes of releasing, it’s out of stock. Now I have to be there at Target first thing in the morning on Sunday. Haha… take a look at some of the bags that will be available on sale. Oh by the way, if you don’t already know, Anya Hindmarch’s bags usually cost around $300-$1600.

Anya Hindmarch is an English designer who released the super pop “I’m not a Plastic Bag”. This mirror straw clutch is one of my favorite clutches that the designer showcases this summer. It’s a perfect example of a sophisticated summer bag! It screams LUXURY! Get it a Vivre for $395. Click on the photo to get one now!

This one from Glorinha Paranagua is the more color-specific clutch that is so cute… it’s like you don’t know which color to get. What’s more s that it’s cheaper… just $275!!! Get it from Vivre… another great online store I just discovered. Click on the photo to begin shopping!

Now if you’re looking for a not so expensive exotic bag – this Turquoise PYTHON skin tote bag from Ghibli is the answer! I love that the top part – the handles and the shape – is so reminiscient of Dior bags. The only difference is that it has more room for your stuff and it’s cheaper too! Plus, it’s PYTHON skin! Eco-Friendly “Green” Bags on the loose…

The much talked about green bag or eco-friendly bag in mid-2007 was Anya Hindmarch’s I’m not a plastic bag! Imagine having an Anya Hindmarch bag for only $15! Yup, that’s right! Hindmarch’s bags are usually worth hundreds of dollars. So when she released this bag, fashionistas were all talking about it. The bag was supposed to be used as a shopping or market bag, so you don’t have to use plastic or paper bag… Imagine, when it was released in Whole Foods NYC, the 3,000 bags were sold out in 2 hours! The line started the night before the release! The I’m not a plastic bag was a hit! It was not the usual shopping bag. It came in a stylish package. Too bad Fashion Juice was not able to acquire one.

So when everyone saw all the hype caused by this fashionable shopping bag, everyone started making green bags as well. Take for example:
