A lot… okay, just two (or perhaps the same person) people have been telling me that my previous post about the Alexander Wang Rocco bag wasn’t the Rocco bag but the Coco Duffel bag. I don’t know why they (or she/he) kept telling me that. Another said that the silver studs are the Rocco bags while the brass ones are the Coco duffel bags. Well, I just want to paste here my sources…
Rocco bags aren’t necessarily the silver studs because as you see in the two photos below, these silver studded bags are named COCO DUFFEL BAGS…

I’ve been meaning to feature this Alexander Wang Rocco bag for so long but I never got around to it.
Well actually I think I’ve mentioned this bag in one of my posts previously. But for some reason, for the past couple of weeks I’ve been thinking about this bag. For those of you who have been reading my blog for awhile, you know my passion with purses. Sure I do adore those high end designer bags. But what about the trendy brands like Alexander Wang? This is definitely an IT bag – something they say that you shouldn’t spend money on because IT bags follow the trend – something that will not last.
Budget fashionistas will always tell you (and I think I’ve given the same advice in the past) to go with classic bags that will last a lifetime. But you know what? I think I’m shifting… or maybe reconsidering or giving an exception to the rule. There are some IT bags that I’ve been loving just like this Alexander Wang Rocco purse. I also love the Alexander Wang Diego and bucket bags. Hmm… I can actually say that this bag (including those mentioned) can pass as a classic bag if not for the studs at the bottom or base of the bag. We all know that studs and hardware are so hot right now especially this Fall season. But will it really bother you after the stud trend is gone? I’m thinking I can deal with it.
Just take a closer look at this Alexander Wang Rocco Bag. It’s black. It’s a classic shape. It’s a gorgeous bag and the leather looks durable and sturdy. It’s low profile – no monograms, no labels. It’s a low maintenance bag. I doubt you would notice if you accidentally scratched it. It’s low-key… it’s hard core. I love it. But you know why I’m actually posting about it? It’s because I can for sure prove that a lot of ladies are getting me because… there is a long wait list for this Alexander Wang Rocco bag!!! I heard there’s like 400 ladies waiting in line for this bag at Barneys! Whoa! But rest assured Alexander Wang is seriously considering producing more to be released this January. You know this bag was actually first seen on one of the Olsen’s twins? I forgot if it was MK or Ashley. But as soon as the editors saw her carrying this bag, everyone was like, what’s that bag? From which fashion house? Who made it? And at that time Alexander Wang wasn’t supposed to produce it. It was just for his then upcoming fashion show. Now look what’s selling like pancakes now, huh?
So what do you think of this bag? Leave me a comment and send your suggestions ladies! Oh wait, I know what some of you are thinking… how heavy are those studs? I honestly don’t know. If you have a back problem, forget it. LOL!

Alexander Wang brings out his artistic skills by making a vest that functions as a bag… or a bag that functions as a vest… well it’s up to you to interpret. This is pretty cool and I can already imagine the likes or Rihanna or the Olsen Twins among others fashion icons sporting this vest bag! Alexander Wang is a genius! Last week, I’ve been meaning to feature this Alexander Wang woven booties. But now that I’ve decided to do it, they are already gone from their Barneys New York website. The booties are really hot – in just a matter of days, they are gone even if they are selling for $595? That’s a big wow! Alexander Wang (CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Winner) does it again! For those of you who aren’t still familiar with the name Taylor Momsen, she is little Jenny Humphrey of the hottest CW TV series today, Gossip Girl. Jenny Humphrey is that charming little sister of Dan. She usually dons dresses, skirts, and pastels. So it would actually surprise you that in real life she prefers gothic style. Just like in this Joan Jett-inspired ensemble. According to Taylor, she is loving Alexander Wang’s and D&G’s edgy styles. Well perhaps it’s part of Jenny Humphrey’s transformation in Gossip Girl? We will soon find out. Can’t wait for the next Gossip Girl this Monday.
