Pure understated style.

It’s like Yohji Yamamoto’s silhouette done by a sports brand which is Adidas, plus color. Well, it’s not surprising at all, knowing that Adidas did a collab with Stella McCartney. But this new campaign, the Adidas / Slvr is tempting… it’s stylish and comfy at the same time. I am loving that sweater and tights. This color is perfect for fall season! And should you be able to check out their site, you’ll see the funnel jackets, lantern skirts, and dresses!!! It’s like Adidas turns High Street fashion! I am loving it.

Thanksgiving Bargains

I know this post is a bit late but as they always say, better late than never. So we went to Allen Premium Outlets for Midnight Madness last November 28, right after Thanksgiving Dinner. Just about 1 to 2 miles (or more) before reaching the outlet, we were surprised to see a lot of cars lined up on the road. We thought there was an accident of some sort but, oh no… all these cars were lined up on the entrance of Allen Premium Outlets! Then, some of the cars beside us started turning their cars to the grassy side of the highway. Wow! Seriously? After a couple of minutes, we started seeing a lot of cars doing the same thing. They started parking beside the highway. Haha. So, of course, the line got shorter and we were already near the entrance. But, it seems there’s really no way to get a parking space. So hubby found another entrance without cars lined up. Well there were still a couple of cars but not like the other main entrance. So we went there instead. We were in luck because right where we stopped, there was a couple ready to leave the outlet. Thank God!

Adidas Goodyear Street 2 Shoes in Brown

This afternoon, one of my early Christmas gifts for hubby just came in. Of course, he already knew about it ‘coz I couldn’t help but share it with him when I learned Adidas already has the brown Goodyear Street 2 shoes in stock.

Adidas has a lot of Goodyear Racing Shoes, and because Hubby loves racing so much, he loves these shoes as well. They’re perfect for driving and racing. I previously got him a white Adidas Goodyear for his bday (or was it Christmas???) and he loved it so much. Then last time we went to an Adidas outlet store, we got a great bargain on black Adidas Goodyear shoes. I’ve been constantly waiting for the brown. They had one before but I saw it a little too late coz they no longer have his size. Then there was another time that I saw a new model of Adidas Goodyear in brown but again, they no longer have his size. Then came the Adidas Porsche Racing Shoes, but… I didn’t like the wood panel on the side. The carbon fiber in the white ones were great but the wood panel? No, not for a racer. So I waited and waited until the other day, I found a new model of brown Goodyear shoes – the Adidas Goodyear Street 2. So, I immediately had to order them before they were out. And good thing I did because his size were out again when I checked today.

Adidas Jackets

While touring Round Rock Premium Outlet in Austin, we found an Adidas outlet store. My bro-in-law was looking for an Adidas jacket so we just tagged along. When we found out they have this BOGO (Buy One Get One Half Off), we decided to get hubby one too. So they can just divide the total, you know what I mean?

So anyway, again, I don’t know why they always don’t have sizes for hubby. So I ended up the one finding a jacket for myself. I was hesitant because I know I’ve been shopping endlessly so I really wanted to get a jacket for hubby instead of me. I told him I won’t buy it but he insisted because it was so cheap at $21 (originally at $50). So I said fine, I mean, I wouldn’t really say no if he insisted… haha So in the end, it was me and bro-in-law getting jackets. However, when we went to Allen Premium Outlets last Monday, I finally found hubby his jacket for $22+ only! It was the same style as his brother only different in color. Plus the pockets were in the original color unlike his bro’s yellow line in the pocket opening. While paying, we learned that the discount price is supposed to be $33 (like his brother’s) but since the tag says $22+ they gave it to us at that price anyway. Yay! So there you go, $21 and $22 Adidas Jackets. Classic! The white’s mine and the midnight blue (almost black) is hubby’s.

Cool Adidas Jackets

I so love Adidas jackets and I’m sure a lot of men like them too. In fact, watching MTV Cribs from time to time, I can almost say that most of the guy celebs there have a collection of Adidas striped jackets in almost every color. I love the yellow and blue vintage jacket below. It’s selling for $70 which I think isn’t bad at all. So girls, if you’re looking for a nice gift for your guy, think Adidas track jackets.
