One to cross off my “Blogger Bucket List”. That’s how I think about the Tootsies Dallas Top Blogger 2014 Finale. To be able to get such recognition as a finalist and be able to style a mini-fashion show because of this blog – it’s a dream come true for me. Words cannot express my gratitude. I may not have won, but I believe all of us finalists felt we were all winners. People were coming up to me to ask for a photo, standing up in front for a couple of minutes being photographed by so many people – it was definitely a night to remember. I am truly humbled. Thank you all for making this one of the best nights of my life. Definitely a wonderful experience that I will never forget. It was such a night to remember. Who would have thought I’d style 5 models for a mini fashion show and at the same time, talk in front of a huge crowd of fashionable people? It was nerve-wracking and intimidating, I tell you. But I survived and had the best time of my life. Here are photos from the Tootsies Dallas Top Blogger 2014 Finale. Enjoy!

The fabulous and funny Courtney Kerr hosted the event. In case you don’t know, she’s from Bravo TV’s Courtney Loves Dallas (spin-off from Most Eligible Dallas where she was also part of the cast). She’s also currently a host at the The Broadcast morning show and blogs at What Courtney Wore.
Seated below are the panel of judges – Rhonda Sargent Chambers of RSC Show Productions, Shannon Yoachum of Style by Lolly, Jen Smith of Blank White Frames (Tootsies Dallas Top Blogger 2012 Winner), Samantha Stewart of Style of Sam (Tootsies Dallas Top Blogger 2013 Finalist), and Heather Anderson of Style by Fluent (Tootsies Dallas Top Blogger 2013 Finalist).
So after some introduction of the judges, each finalist was called one by one, asked a question about their presentation and then the fashion show began! Here’s me trying to not stutter, slip or do something embarrassing. LOL! I was that nervous.
Below, I present to you my 5 looks. I have to be honest with you though. I feel like I wasn’t able to showcase my style that much. But don’t get me wrong, I love each and every look here. But some of the pieces that I really wanted were already taken by some of the other bloggers… and of course, I don’t want to send the same piece or a similar look down the runway. But either way, I hope you love the looks that I styled…

Below are the rest of the Tootsies Dallas Top Blogger 2014 Finalists being interviewed by Courtney Kerr…
And the Tootsies Dallas Top Blogger 2014 is… Kendall of Dallas Tidbits! Her looks were gorgeous. I swear I wanted a lot of the pieces she sent down the runway! Plus, isn’t she beautiful? Congrats Kendall!
Aside from the fashion show the finalists presented, Tootsies also showed pieces from the Elizabeth & James Pre-Fall 2014 collection. Check out the 5 looks from the Trunk Show.
And they also had a raffle for those who will buy from the Elizabeth & James line. What was up for grabs? This gorgeous Elizabeth & James jacket that Courtney Kerr was modeling.
Below are some of my friends who made it to the event. Some of them maybe familiar because they are also contributing writers here at My Fashion Juice. Can you spot them?
I just want to thank you all again for the awesome support you have given me the last couple of weeks. And of course, special thanks to Tootsies Dallas for this wonderful opportunity. Being chosen as a finalist is such an honor. Thank you! If you’d like to see more photos from that night, photographer James Edward has a ton of them on his website. Happy browsing!
