Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2010 and their Angels
Last night, I was tuned to CBS for the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. It’s definitely one of the biggest fashion shows in the world I tell yah! They always have the best performers on stage! But of course, they always have the best fashion show productions on earth! LOL! Well, that’s how much I enjoy watching Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows each year. My favorite was their fashion show in 2006 when Justin Timberlake performed. But this year, 2010′s Fashion Show could easily replace my favorite… Katy Perry and Akon rocked the show! And of course, the Victoria’s Secret Angels flaunted their bodies among the rest of the VS models this year.
Did you see how sexier Adrian Lima has become after pregnancy early this year? She is my favorite Victoria’s Secret Angel and she opened this year’s Fashion Show! I love her! I love those shoes!
Alesandra Ambrosio is also one of the veteran Victoria’s Secret Angels. Ale is one of the popular favorites.

South African-born Candice Swanepoel was spotted by a model scout in Dubai at age 15. By age 16 she was earningg 5,000 Euros for a day’s work. She has walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce and Gabbana, Shiatzy Chen, Sass and Bide, Betsey Johnson, Diane von Fürstenberg among many others.
Chicago native Erin Heatherton launched her career after walking for Diane von Fürstenberg, and has since modeled for Shiatzy Chen, Alberta Ferretti, Blumarine, Carolina Herrera, Derek Lam, Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferré, Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, and Tommy Hilfiger.
Lily Aldridge has been featured in campaigns for Rocawear, Arden B., Shiatzy Chen, Bobbi Brown and Smashbox Cosmetics, Coach, JCrew, Charles David and Levi’s. Lily is engaged to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill whom she’s been dating since 2007.
Behati Prinsloo is known for VS Pink but is now among the top VS Angels. Her ad campaigns include Adore, Aquascutum, Chanel, H&M, Hugo Boss, Kurt Geiger, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Max Studio, and Nina Ricci. She has walked in fashion shows for Prada, Paul Smith, Shiatzy Chen, Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, Versace, Chanel, Missoni, and DKNY. She’s a new fave Angel of mine. 
California Girl Lindsay Ellingson has modeled for Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Proenza Schouler, Valentino, Christian Dior, and others. Ellingson was discovered at a ProScout event that she attended in Orange County, California.
Of course who doesn’t know the popular supermodel Chanel Iman… the VS Angel’s baby who loves to party. She’s always in the party scene and on the red carpet. She’s one of the fashion icons of today’s teens. She has walked the glamorous runways of Balenciaga, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Givenchy, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Dsquared, Hermès, Michael Kors, Dior, Ralph Lauren, Anna Sui, Diane von Fürstenberg, Vera Wang, Jean Paul Gaultier and Stella McCartney. And this year, she has earned her WINGS to become one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels – the ultimate dream of many models.
Other New Victoria’s Secret Models who are yet to gain the Victoria’s Secret Angel status…
Belarus-born lingerie model Kjatsia Zingarevich has joined the Victoria’s Secret family this year as the new face of several of their campaigns. In 2006 Kjatsia won the super prestigious Ford Supermodel of the Year contest and has since then modeled for various brands and magazines.
Emanuela de Paula is a Brazilian model who has been the face of UK retailer Next for the past two seasons and can be seen in the 2009 Pirelli Calendar. She has also replaced Pernille Holmboe as the new model for the Swedish clothing store Gina Tricot. Oh and did you notice how Vin Diesel stood up from his seat and cheered loudly when Emanuela came down the runway?

Other Supermodels Who Walked the Runway
Jessica Stam has been part of VS shows in the past but that’s not how she became popular. Remember the Marc Jacobs Stam bag? Fashion designer Marc Jacobs created the Marc Jacobs Stam, a bag inspired by and named after her. She also stars in campaigns for Bulgari, Dior, Lanvin and Escada. She also appears in the F/W 2007 Christian Dior, DKNY, Miss Sixty, Loewe and Roberto Cavalli ad campaigns. Jessica also did a couple of campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Giorgio Armani, Vera Wang, Valentino, Miu Miu, Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Holt Renfrew, Dior, BCBG Max Azria, Lanvin, Shiatzy Chen, Roberto Cavalli, Bulgari, H&M, Aldo Groupe, and DKNY.
Anja Rubik is another Supermodel who graced the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She has modeled for Givenchy, Chloé, Christian Dior, Hermès, Valentino, Gucci, H&M, Gap, Fendi, Missoni, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, and Ralph Lauren. She has also done haute couture for Valentino, Chanel, and Elie Saab. She has appeared in editorials for Numéro, i-D, W Magazine, V Magazine, Harpers Bazaar, and Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, Spanish, British, French, and Italian Vogue.
Another rising supermodel is Liu Wen. She was the first woman of East-Asian descent to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show in 2009. She was discovered when she did Cosmo editorial styled by designers Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor and Rolf and latered walk for each designer. DKNY Jeans, The GAP, Barneys New York, Benetton, Alexander Wang, Converse, cKone, Bergdorf Goodman, Calvin Klein Alexander Wang, and Vivienne Tam are some of the brands she modeled for. I actually featured her here when I posted about the most recent Chanel fashion show.
Now the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show won’t be complete without the million-dollar bra! This year, Adriana Lima wears the $2 Million Bombshell Fantasy Bra designed by Damiani. It boasts 60 carats of white diamonds and blue sapphires.
The last one to walk while “California Girls” was being sung by Katy Perry was Chanel Iman. I love her bubble wings!
You’re probably wondering where the other Victoria’s Secret Angels from previous years were. Well, some of them were still there but were no longer part of the main VS Angels featured this year. There’s Karolina Kurkova who doesn’t have a belly button… well, just a slight indentation because of an operation when she was still an infant.

Miranda Kerr who recently wed Orland Bloom is preggy. Doutzen Kroes is about seven months pregnant with husband producer Sunnery James whom she wed last month.Now American bombshell Marisa Miller, she and VS have parted ways early this year but Victoria’s Secret declined to comment on that matter. As for top VS Angel Heidi Klum, she has already done it for 10 years so it was only time that she retired from her VS thrown.
