AUSTIN, Texas: 6th Annual YWA Fashion Show
Ooh, the 6th Annual YWA Fashion Show is here. Too bad I couldn’t go because I have an important doctor’s appointment tomorrow. But I’m hoping to be there at the Austin Fashion Week this August to cover some shows.

The Young Women’s Alliance is pleased to present the 6th Annual YWA Fashion Show, and the launch of Fashion Evolution at the Historic Driksill Hotel Friday, July 30th. Collections from highly acclaimed Austin-based designer Linda Asaf, Rachelle Briton, and men’s fashion by Margarito Alonzo will be featured as Wilhelmina…a models walk the runway.
Dine and drink with decadent appetizers and cash bar featuring couture cocktails. Enjoy music all night with a special performance by Austin’s
own Larissa Ness. Exclusive shopping from local establishments Beyond Tradition, Limbo Jewelry Design, Solettos, Stella & Dot, Theory and more will be available for all attendees.
VIP ticket holders will sip on a complimentary cocktail from Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka in the VIP Room, while enjoying a Glamour Swag Bag with surprises from Dress Shop, Shimmer & Bliss and more. After Party
The night continues at Speakeasy’s Kabaret Room for the After Party with drink specials from Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka and food from Imperia. There will be a $5 cover fee for those without a Fashion Evolution wristband.
Fashion Evolution benefits the YWA Foundation, which gives girls and young women in Central Texas the opportunity to continue their education, and enrich their careers through scholarships and grant programs.
