The real bag hag in me got a really great idea… hahaha. 
You know, we all have certain goals in life. And whatever they maybe, it’s good to reward yourself once you have achieved that award. Now I was just planning/thinking about the things that I want to achieve. And so to make the bag hag Fashion Juice motivated, I decided to choose a shopping tote that will motivate me in reaching my goal. So if I do reach it, I am entitled to this sweet treat… but it’s kinda hard to decide which bag to get as I am torn between two Tory Burch bags. What’s even more confusing is that I am planning to get a premiere designer shopping tote for my birthday. So I am turning to you ladies for your opinions…
#1 Should I get the Tory Burch Small Jaden Tote?
This shopping tote is available in cardinal red, real khaki, or black cotton twill canvas. It has VEGAN leather (perfect for the vegan in me) trim, has top handles, and has the iconic Tory Burch logo detail on top center. The size is 12″H x 18″W x 5″D.
I love the size of the bag (the red one shown in the photo). I love the style – very shopping tote-esque. I love that VEGAN. But of course, being twill canvas and not nylon or at the least, coated (to make it water resistant) is the downside to this shopping tote. This is the cheapest choice at $195.
#2 Should I get the Tory Burch Large Brewster Tote?
Subtly embellished with Tory Burch’s signature gold screw hardware unlike the flashy Tory Burch logo in the Jaden Tote. It’s made up of coated twill with contrasting patent details throughout. It has a front zipper closure with logo pull – something I find important for shopping totes. It has patent and gold screw embellishments at back. It also has an interior zip compartment with two pockets at side and protective feet at bottom. It’s size is 13″ L x 22″ x 6″ D.
It’s certainly a whole lot bigger than the Jaden tote which makes me wonder if it would be too big. The thing I like about it though is that it is coated twill so it won’t easily get dirty and a few water drops/rain drops won’t hurt. The only thing is, this is more expensive at $238. But it’s actually already a great bargain considering the original price was $595.
#3 Should I just wait ’til end of the year to get a premiere designer shopping tote?
So okay, I’m also getting another shopping tote by the end of the year. But it’s not any Tory Burch, Coach, Marc by Marc Jacobs, or Longchamp for that matter. I’m getting a premiere designer shopping tote which I have been longing and waiting for like forever. It’s my birthday gift to myself. That’s the main reason why I’m also thinking if it’s worth buying a less expensive shopping tote this summer when I’m also getting a shopping tote – the one that I really like, come winter… Well, I know a bag hag always has a reason to buy a bag be it the same style or the same line but just in a different color or size. But sometimes, one must just have to pause for awhile and think about their purchases. Now I’m not saying bag hags should stop buying bags. All I’m saying is, if you don’t have enough budget to buy all the bags you want, then perhaps one should carefully plan their purchases… get the classics and avoid the unnecessary. But then again, I want both. I’m a bag hag after all, you can’t blame me. Hahaha… And besides, I think it’s also best to have a less expensive shopping tote you can toss around and a premiere designer shopping tote that you can take to fancy places. What do you think? I’m torn!

you’re right, you should get a casual everyday bag that you can use for ordinary errands while still looking stylish and chic. i think the price you pay for the jaden, you can save up again in a few months’ time by cutting down on frills like coffee and cosmetics. for me, i’d definitely prefer buying a nice bag than expensive makeup, snacks, or clothes.
(ps. sale pa rin ba ang chanel sa states? p.p.s. i would like to seek your opinion on something by the way… a friend is selling her pre-owned chanel pst in black caviar for P65k. do you think this is a good price? it’s very very slightly used. thanks and more power!)

thanks so much for sharing your opinion! if i’m not mistaken, there are still a couple of boutiques/big retailers carrying Chanel that are on sale… they usually just leave the bags/shoes on sale until they’re all gone. the sale however are not the classic bags. so if you want the PST, they’re not on sale 
but i think that 65k for the pst is already a good bargain, unless you are going to Europe soon. Does it have the dust bag, box and card? If it does, then I say go for it!

wahahaha! yeah, well simply because i personally think that the bag that you’re going to buy next is not high maintenance as well. few rain drops won’t hurt. and the best thing is you still keep up to your premier designer collection.

Hi brown eyed girl… lush angel is a friend of mine.
She knows kasi what I’m getting next and it’s not a Chanel. But anyway, Lush Angel had a PST but she sold it because she wanted the GST. You should check out her site, lushangel.com. Go to the Chanel category and you’ll see her PST. I was actually the one who bought it here in the US for her.
