Exceeded My Photobucket Bandwidth

Just a couple of hours ago, I have received a notification that I exceeded my Photobucket bandwidth. Uh-oh! The photos here at My Fashion Juice blog were temporarily disabled and I won’t be able to use/view them until the 11th – that is when my allowable monthly bandwidth resets to zero! OMG! I was on panic mode. I hurriedly opened my browser and went to my blog… oh shoot! The photos, some of the widgets… they were all saying…

Okay, I exaggerated a bit… hehe. But yeah, my blog has exceeded the monthly bandwidth of 25 GIG (for photos)!!! No way! And it’s only been almost 3 weeks. So I didn’t know what to do! Do I upload my photos to my own hosting account and rename the links in my site – which is time consuming (or perhaps was just lazy to do it)? Or do I just use my other photo storage/sharing account from another provider, but then I would have to upload it there as well and rename everything. Again, too lazy to do it and I had no liberty of time… knowing that every minute someone visits my site, they won’t be seeing any of the photos as well as the widgets (with photos). Ugh. And to think I have deadlines to meet!
Thankfully, the good guys at Photobucket offer free upgrade to Photobucket Pro as long as you have a sponsor to pay for it (unless you want to pay for it yourself and in this case I don’t want to pay $39.95 a year for unmetered bandwidth and 10 Gig of storage and no ads in your account). Hehe. So I went ahead and got me a sponsor and tada… my photos are back up! Whew (T_T). So to those who have witnessed my site going photo-less, please accept my apologies. Now, I have unlimited photo-bandwidth with Photobucket (atleast for the next 12 months), but will start organizing my photos so this never ever happens again even if I later downgrade to the regular Photobucket account.
xoxo

so who was your sponsor? why not upload your photos to your hosting? do you use “save for web” from photoshop?

no, it was just one of those choose one of the sponsors below and sign up. di ko sana imention kasi baka naman mahalata ako na nag sign up lang ako para sa photobucket na 1 year free tapos ng trial icancel ko na. hahaha. real networks yung sponsor. anyway, minsan sa pagmamadali di ko na na-sasave for web noh. hehehe. ayoko kasi lagay sa hosting kasi ayaw ko mapuno and baka bumagal. hehe
