Yellow Ribbon for Cory Aquino

Our Former President Cory Aquino passed away 3:18 am on August 1st, Saturday (Philippine Time). I join my fellow Filipinos in prayer for the Philippine President who managed to end dictatorship through a “People Power” revolution. My prayers go out to the Cojuanco-Aquino family at this difficult time. Mrs. Cory Aquino endured a year-long battle of colon cancer. Somehow, I am saddened by this news also because I remember my late grandmother who shares the same name, Cory Aquino. The only thing was that my grandmother passed away so sudden and we weren’t able to say goodbye. We were really close. I feel for Cory’s children especially Kris Aquino, but at least they were able to spend time with her during her last days. Let’s all pray for her soul and for the family she has left behind.

I offer this yellow ribbon in memory of our late Philippine President, Cory Aquino.

Models Of The Runway

On August 20, Project Runway will be premiering on Lifetime Channel. But after that, Models of the Runway, the latest television show related to the latter, will make its debut. For the first time ever, we’ll see all the drama happening in the models side of the game. Oh we are certainly looking forward to that day! Not only do we get to see the action between designers in Project Runway TV show, we’ll also see what’s happening with the models, their apartment, the jealousy, and many others… oooh, cat fight! Modern Wedding Entrance

It’s probably been a week or so, since I first watched Jill and Kevin’s Wedding entrance dance over and over again. I’ve probably watched it more than five times already and I will still continue to watch it whenever I get the chance. That’s why even if I’m already late in posting, I still decided to post it here. I’ve actually just forgotten to post this video last week because things were pretty hectic that I tend to forget what I’m supposed to be featuring.

But anyway, why am I posting this? I just wanna share it with you (especially those who haven’t seen it) to probably make you smile… I know I did. This modern wedding entrance makes me smile each time I watch it. It’s like a breath of fresh air. They all look so happy and they are really having a fun time together. I love it. Feeling Lousy…

Feeling lousy or lazy? Well, we went to an at-home birthday party/dinner last night and so I decided to go for a casual, lousy, feel-at-home look… and simply added some accessories to spruce up the outfit. After all, it’s a birthday party at home and there will be drinking… I simply wore my ever-dependable, latest-favorite pair of Rich & Skinny denims (seriously needs length adjustment) with an old Zara striped green and white tee (circa 2005) I dug up in my closet…

Yeah, I seriously need to organize but I’m just waiting for us to move to our new home so I can create my DREAM CLOSET! Well, the walk-in isn’t that big BUT enough for MY clothes. Haha. Hubby will have to place his clothes in the guest room. No I’m just kidding. It’s enough but he says he could use the other room’s closet for his clothes - who am I to disagree???  Oh and the master bedroom is spacious enough for my display of babies – my bags! I’ve got big plans for them. Oh, I am just too excited once we’re done dressing up the house and of course, I’ll share with you my bag’s new home by then. Okay, I digress. Going back, I managed to take a couple of photos at home of what I wore last night sans the hat and white high-heeled peep toes. I wore my Nine West wedges again. Haha… I tend to overuse shoes that I love… unlike bags that I alternate depending on what I’m wearing.
