Chanel Spring-Summer 2009 Sale

Chanel is putting up their Spring-Summer 2009 collection on sale this June 6th. Need I say more? I don’t want to blabber any longer because I am saddened by this news. I just can’t get one for myself as you all know, Hubby and I are getting a house soon. Oh well… and besides, I just got a new bag from Gucci. And what’s more, my HP laptop of nearly 3 years is starting to act up… intermittent wireless (they suck), extended battery dead, and add to that the Windows Vista problems. In a few months, I’ll be joining the rest saying “I’m a Mac”! So anyway, if you have moolah to spare, head to Chanel on June 6 to get first dibs on sale items!

The Will Ferrell Sunscreen – I don’t know where to start actually. Haha. Hmmm… let me see. Another celebrity launching a new product – ugh, great – but oh wait, this is really great coz it’s not like the usual celebrities launching their clothing line or beauty line… it’s Will Ferrell! What’s next? Hmm… it could be a perfect Father’s Day gift!?! Perfect! And hey, summer is just around the corner so this is so timely!

Chanel Bags from Paris-Moscou 08/09 Collection

Bag hags, particularly the Chanel lovers out there, check out the latest bags from Chanel. These are the bags from their Paris-Moscou 08/09 collection. It’s been awhile that I haven’t featured the latest bags from Chanel. So here they are. Enjoy! 

One thing I noticed though, a lot of bags here are so “over-the-top”, if you know what I mean. They are just too “overly-intricated” for my taste. I still prefer their classic hand bags. Well, that’s probably because these bags are fascinating collectibles. And besides, Kaiser Karl Lagerfeld just wanted these bags to embody Paris-Moscou. Lifetime Channel will air Project Runway this August

Season 6 of Project Runway will air this August and Bravo won’t be airing it. Instead, the Lifetime Channel will be airing the Fashionista TV fave (recall the 9-month long legal battles). What’s more? The set is no longer in New York but L.A. At the same time there’s hardly anything new. Lifetime Channel is worried about what the fans have to say so they want to keep everything exactly the same as the TV show was when it was still part of Bravo TV. The set looks the same; the logo and colors are the same; Tim, Heidi, Michael, and Nina are all there; the format is the same.

Beauty: Chanel Tokyo Happening

The warmer months of the year simply beg us fashionistas to try out various colors and bright colors at that.

You’ve probably heard that the latest fashion in nails are the pastel chalk colors just like what Serena Van Der Woodsen of Gossip Girl fame was wearing in the Season’s Finale. Look to your right and click on the image to see what I’m talking about. The photo I found was too small. But if you watched the finale of Gossip Girl, when Dan took Serena out from jail to attend their prom and Serena was dressing up inside the cab, you would have noticed her pastel chalk nail polish. So anyway, pastel colors are hot right now and that includes makeup. In fact, Chanel just released their new line of pastel makeup colors, Chanel Tokyo Happening.
