Peacock Wedding Dress

Let’s talk about wedding fashions for the moment. All brides want their big wedding day to themselves… It’s a day that is solely for the bride and groom. But more often than not, it becomes more of the “bride’s day” simply because of the much needed preparation on the part of the female. No offense to men, but women have to prepare a lot of stuff as compared to the men. For one, choosing the right dress (choosing ”the one”) is all too tedious enough not to mention the fitting part. How a dress will fit certainly is of importance especially if the bride needs to shed off or pack some pounds… and that’s not all. There’s also the matter of the hair, the jewelry to wear, the shoes to wear, the flower/bouquet to carry, the makeup, the theme or motiff, etc., etc., etc. In fact, others even think about their skin color for the day of the wedding. Others tan while others want to have a light porcelain skin. Some even go beyond and do medical procedures of some sort just to look their best during their wedding day. But let’s just tackle the dress part for now… the wedding dress…

One model in China wears the Peacock wedding dress at a wedding expo. It’s truly one of a kind because the dress is made up of 2,000 peacock feathers. In fact, it took eight designers to finish the wedding dress in two months. And the price? A whopping $1.5 million! Well, we’ll have to see who buys this wedding dress. I certainly wouldn’t want to wear something like this because for one – it’s not the usual white color nor even close to it, and two – I feel horrified with the peacock feathers – poor peacock.
