Now there’s more reason to love beer. Now beer not only makes you happy but it also makes your skin happy. Haha Never underestimate the versatility and awesome power of a well-brewed beer. You’ve used it to fortify steaks, polish your impeccable wit and inspire astonishing feats of social daring. But you never dared to dream of bringing it into the shower…

What it means? Your favorite brew is no longer limited to internal consumption. The Beer Soap Company is a troupe of loyal artisans refining your favorite brews into bars of soap. And they are available now. The folks at Beer Soap have figured out a way to turn your favorite hops into shower-ready cleanser, with the help of a little Shea butter, some sunflower oil and enough cleaning agents to turn your favorite relaxant into something downright stimulating. At the moment, they’ve got more than 20 varieties on their site, and they’re planning to have over a hundred by July—when apparently the market for hop-related hygiene products should really take off. My Fashion Juice Site is Down

EDIT: We are up and running again. Thanks to the power of Google Search and not to EFFIN Customer Service of my new hosting account.

Sorry Dear Readers of My Fashion Juice. Though you may view the front page of my site, the rest of the links are down. Hubby and I are trying to resolve the issues in our website all on our own because our EFFIN’ HOSTING ACCOUNT won’t help us. Yes, I am so bummed about this. Imagine, we call them asking how come we can’t install both Frontpage Server Extensions with Word Press and the answer? “We don’t know. We don’t have an answer. As long as it’s there it should work.” But it’s not working, hello??? I told them that the Frontpage Server Extensions aren’t working when we install Word Press. If we reinstall Frontpage, then Word Press won’t work. And what’s more? The customer service said that if you use FTP, the Frontpage won’t work. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Is this your customer support? What the? I’ve never heard of that. In my ten years or so of uploading files etc., I haven’t heard such a thing.

Pink Lips are In

What’s the hottest accessory of the season? Prepare your pink lipstick because pink lips are in. You remember those pink lips from your favorite doll when you were a kid? Yup, Barbie’s lips! She’s my favorite (missing my dollhouse and my Barbie Dolls). Haha. Well, whether it was a pale carnation hue or hot magenta, Barbie or Barbara Millicent Roberts, always worked some wonderful shade to great effect. It seems that Barbie’s lipstick preferences still have a strong presence, as we’ve noticed that many modern beauties like Drew Barrymore, Chloe Sevigny, Camilla Belle, and Taylor Momsen are reaching for similar shades. Apparently, the must-try makeup mantra this spring is: think pink! Check it out below!

Trauma Training on Dogs End in Bolivia

Thank goodness trauma training or combat training on dogs is over in Bolivia. Last month, I posted about such a horrible exercise training they are doing there. Thanks to the people who supported in writing to the Bolivian government through PETA’s online action alert, asking officials to end all use of animals in military combat trainings. Early this month, the minister of defense in Bolivia, Walker San Miguel, appeared on Bolivian television to issue the regulation, declaring that “We are issuing a Resolution 217, by which we prohibit all acts of violence, exploitation, mistreatment that provokes the death of animals.”

Rockwell Power Plant Mall Reopens After Fire

Last April 25th at about 7:30 PM, fire had broken out at the very posh Rockwell Power Plant Mall in Manila, Philippines. Good thing the people responded quickly and no major damage occurred. Yesterday, Rockwell Power Plant Mall was back in operation. Thank goodness no one was harmed.
