Fendi Zucca-Print Canvas Tote

When I started to become a vegetarian, I told myself that I have to limit my spending on leather bags – even if that is my obsession. So I started looking for bags that are made up of different materials other than animal products. One of the bags I’ve found is the Fendi Zucca-Print Canvas Tote. The white one is what caught my eye online. This $1,025 bag also comes in black. But when I saw the black one online, it didn’t appeal to me up until now…

I saw these two bags in person and I was shocked that the white one that I actually like was not at all that nice in real life. It looked a bit cheap – sorry Fendi! But it’s true. I tried it on and while it may look good in the photo, it wasn’t when seen up close. The white Fendi Zucca-Print Canvas Tote is a perfect example of a monet! Pardon the photo as it came from Hubby’s phone. Also, the “F’s” in the bag are inverted because he took the photo in the mirror.

Surprisingly, the black tote was the opposite. It was better than the white one when you see it in real life. I was so tempted to get it. After all, this size and style is similar to the Louis Vuitton Neverfull that I returned. The reason I prefer this is because the handle has that texture unlike the smooth leather straps from Louis Vuitton. What this means? Wear and tear won’t be obvious with a textured strap as compared to a smooth strap that will easily show off wrinkles, etc. On the other hand, this bag may appeal to you like the Louis Vuitton multicolore bags… but – while the colors are practically similar if not the same, this has a different overall look. I think it’s due to the fact that the multitude of colors dominate the bag and so the colors doesn’t come off as distracting to the background color. In the Louis Vuitton multicolore bags, the black or the white dominate the color of the bag. And so, only in my opinion, it doesn’t look that nice or doesn’t blend well unlike the Fendi Zucca-Print Canvas Tote. Oh well. I’m just hoping that after Summer, this bag is still available and they’ll probably go on sale at Saks or Neiman’s and then I can get it. Hahahaha
Again, sorry for the bad photo as it came off from Hubby’s phone – my phone takes better pictures. I should have handed him my phone. Hehe

xoxo

yes, the black one looks better indeed. It still doesn’t fancy me as much though. Well at least it’s not leather.
I didn’t know you are a vegetarian now, when did you start?

hehe
I think it was in January. search it here and watch the videos I shared about animal cruelty… kaya tuloy ako napa-vegetarian. although pag weekends i occasionally eat pa rin pag may mga parties or dinner at friends house kasi nakakahiya naman wag kumain diba? hehe
atleast, i limit myself na lang that’s still a great help, in my opinion.
