Says who? What do you mean? Those on sale still have Teslar chips. And these are on sale by Gilt Groupe and not by Philip Stein. In fact, I ordered mine from Gilt Groupe and they already arrived. They still come with the Teslar technology. That's why I like this watch because of that feature. I don't think they'll ever take that out because it's what they are known for.
