At last, I have uploaded photos from the Shecky’s Girls Night Out event in Dallas and I’m here to share with you all the juicy details! Well, hopefully I have the time to tell you every detail.

So what was there to see at the Shecky’s Girls Night Out in Dallas and in other events to come? A lot! Let me give you the many reasons I enjoyed being there that night. I assure our Ticket and Goodie Bag winners, you will all have fun just like I did. Oh and before you ask (like I was asked at the event) what’s that black thing on my head – it’s Ash! I just came from Ash Wednesday mass before I headed on to the Dallas event.

Chanel Bags on Sale at Costco

This morning was the opening of Costco in Kapolei in Hawaii. The store has a 160,000 square ft space which is 5,000 square ft larger than the Iwilei store. It is the only Costco on Oahu with an indoor snack area. And as expected, there where hundreds of people lined up at the opening. Umm, are we in a recession? Haha… it seems like people can’t stop to shop especially if they are looking at discounted prices from Costco!

The Latest from Louis Vuitton

The Louis Vuitton campaign starring Madonna was all a buzz a few months back and now we are ready to see the latest from the Spring Collection / Ipanema Collection. Their latest bags called the Louis Vuitton Kalahari bags… which are so Bohemian (Ipanema-inspired) and may I say, Fierce at the same time – is something that I’m not too fond of. I love how Nine West shoes and bags are able to compete with premier designers’ but they are far more affordable than those thousand dollar Louboutin’s I love… they’re always trendy, nice, and even Hollywood celebrities get to wear them (especially the set of Gossip Girl – our fave TV show). I particularly love their boots (they’re on sale now if you’re interested to stock up for next winter, hehe). To The Most Important Man In My Life

Today is a day of occasions… first and foremost, (1) it is the birthday of the most important man in my life (not considering God and my Dad of course, oh and Joshua our baby chow haha). Well, it’s the birthday of none other than my husband. (2) It is also Ash Wednesday today. So for the Catholics out there, please go to mass and abstain from eating meat. And if you can do fasting, that would even be a better sacrifice. It’s actually a coincidence because Hubby and I have decided months before to eat at this popular Seafood Restaurant (which I read is a favorite of Beyonce – will tell you more about it after our dinner) for his birthday, not knowing that it would fall on an Ash Wednesday. Yay! (3) For the Filipinos, it’s a day to commemorate the 1986 People Power Revolution who has lead our country to its democracy. It used to be a NON-WORKING Holiday ever since. But in 2008 it was already declared a WORKING Holiday.

So going back to (1), I dedicate this day to my husband and him alone. So I’m sorry readers as I will not be posting anything fashion-related today. So if you don’t want to read this cheezy post, DON’T click on CONTINUE READING.

Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima Married

My favorite Victoria’s Secret angle, Adriana Lima, who recently topped the list of the world’s sexiest people, got married last Valentine’s Day. It was actually a secret that is today, no longer a secret! Perhaps they wanted some privacy (who doesn’t want it anyway, right)? I’m a very private person myself. So while the rest of the world were out on romantic dates or movie nights, Adriana Lima wed her Marko Jaric, a Serbian basketball player to whom she got enganged with in November of 2007. Congratulations Adriana and Marko!
