Finesse, the hair care company, is holding a contest in the Philippines called the “Finesse Super Style Me Challenge”. Back when I was in Manila, one of the websites that I regularly check is Femail Network. I have been subscribed ever since. I haven’t unsubscribed and so I continuously receive emails from them. Some I read, some delete. Now, I got this email yesterday about the “Finesse Super Style Me Challenge”. And what caught my attention? I know two of the contestants…

Well, the challenge involves the stylist and makeup artists of three major fashion magazines in the Philippines – Preview, Cosmo, and Marie Claire. Preview’s representatives for the “Finesse Super Style Me Challenge” is my friend from my cheer dancing days back in college, Gela Laurel (makeup artist) and Anne Bella (stylist). For the Cosmo Magazine Team, their stylist is Dona Cuna Pita (which I thought has resigned previously) with Effie Go as the makeup artist. In fact, if it wasn’t Dona representing Cosmo, I’m pretty sure my lovely friend/batch mate Kat Dy would be styling. Lastly, Marie Claire’s team is composed of the ever famous Barbi Chan (stylist/makeup artist) and a schoolmate of mine in grade school and high school, Bea Constantino (stylist).

Anyway, if Kat Dy was included, I’d instantly vote Team Cosmo for her. As for Bea, she was one batch lower than me so we didn’t really know each other that much… though we were in the same campaign party (school council etc). Thus, I am voting for Team PREVIEW! Go Gela (all the girls in the pep squad are cute, haha)! So please dear readers, if you’re with me, please vote Team PREVIEW!
