Michael Kors Outlets’ After Christmas Sale

Like most outlets stores, Michael Kors were among those who offered great sales and promos after Christmas Day. Of course, we have already planned to go to the outlet stores after Christmas during our vacation in California. So while Hubby and I were there, I made sure to choose the outlet stores that are hard to find. We then went to Cabazon outlets, as mentioned in my previous posts – where the likes of Juicy Couture, Gucci, Ferragamo, Bottega Venetta, Dolce & Gabbana, Barneys New York, and Lacoste among so many others can be found. I didn’t even know that these stores have outlet versions! OMG! But anyway, I’m here to talk about my Michael Kors find. Nothing fancy. Just necessary!

I really wanted to buy a pair of jeans because I returned the one and only great pair I found at Marshalls (that was just $29!!!). Why did I ever return it? I found out that Michael Kors sizes were huge! So beware when ordering online. Make sure that you’ve tried a Michael Kors apparel before buying. The jeans were size 2 but they were really big on me! The dresses I’ve tried at the Michael Kors outlet store in Round Rock Premium Outlets in Austin were also big. The size 0 fits me but is still a bit loose. So anyway, as I was digging in for jeans, I found no size 0 at that time. And since I didn’t expect California to be that cold (as cold as Texas) during winter time, I wasn’t that prepared with regards to the clothes I brought. So I was really looking for anything to keep me warm! Sweaters, overcoats, cardigans, etc. And I found this…

It’s nothing fancy… just something to keep me warm. And it has truly served its purpose! Thank goodness! I don’t like the cold that much. I’d prefer a hot sunny day over a cool breeze anytime! Imagine going to the beach to hang out… drinking frozen iced tea shake, or a smoothie, or a cold beer, or a frozen margarita… basking in the sun and perhaps bringing a book or magazine with you… Anyway, this tan colored drape cardigan is great for layering. I chose this color because it will go with most colors like black, brown, whites, earth colors, and even pastel colors too. At the same time, when the coldest winter says goodbye, I can still wear it with shirts or tanks inside. I can also play around with the drapes by crossing it over and tying it at the back or in front. The only issue I have with this layer is that it’s a medium and it’s quite big actually. There were no small sizes left at that time. But I still got it anyway because it’s just for layering. It’s okay to get something bigger. Sometimes, I wear 3 layers because of the cold weather and this would still fit nicely. :) Of course this was included in the after Christmas sales. As far as I can remember, the original price was above $100 but I got it for $39! It’s a good deal for its functionality.
