New Louis Vuitton Bags

I know I’m at it again. My posts are all Louis Vuitton for the past few days. Don’t worry, this will be the last of the batch. I’m heading on to other topics after this. I promise. I just want to share with you the latest Multicolore (Creation of Takashi Murakami) bags from Louis Vuitton. They also have some Epi leather coming in.

I’m not so much of a fan of the multicolore bags. If I were to choose between the black and the white, I’d go for the white. Then again, I’m scared of getting white-colored bags for expensive labels – simply because I don’t wanna ruin them and waste my money. But soon, I’m sure, I’ll get over that fear… Hehe. Well atleast I have overcome that fear with my Louis Vuitton Damier Azur. But you’ll just laugh at me if you see me wearing it. I’m just too conscious about it. I always keep it by my side. I don’t just put it anywhere, and I look at it everytime I felt someone brushed alongside me. Haha… I know I’m so paranoid. Going back, the only reason I don’t like the black is because I don’t like it with the canvas leather. I don’t think they match nicely – especially that there are too many colors involved. That’s just my opinion. A lot of people actually find it nice – except for me.

So anyway, this new Louis Vuitton Multicolore bag is the Claudia. It’s a sophisticated bowling bag that retails for $2020 – Ouch! Nevertheless, I like the style. I’ll go for the white if you ask me.

The other new Louis Vuitton bag is from the Epi leather collection, the Montaigne Bag. It’s not the old Bowling Montaigne but a new Montaigne bag. I have to see it in person to be able to give my opinion. I’m not so much of a fan of the Epi except for their Alma’s and their Speedy’s. The Epi is too plain for me (or should I say I’m not a fan of the silver hardware?). I prefer the gold hardware which is nowhere to be found in their Epi collection. But this new bag, the Montaigne, is no longer plain and simple… and the silver hardware really works for this design. But for its retail price of $1570, I’d rather go for the Alma and add some accessory to it.
