Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Collection Release Date
Ladies, mark your calendars! The Stephen Sprouse collection of Louis Vuitton is set to hit stores this January 15th! Oh we can’t wait. But honestly, I love the first collection of the late designer Stephen Sprouse much more than this upcoming one (Though they’re saying this will be more successful than the first). I can’t forget the white and black Alma… just too gorgeous! A salute to the Louis Vuitton collaboration between Stephen Sprouse and Marc Jacobs! Stephen Sprouse died in 2004 of lung cancer. Nevertheless, this tribute collection that Marc Jacobs has designed is screaming Stephen Sprouse all over… in neon!
What I want to get is the rose one… but my only concern is… I don’t want to purchase another Louis Vuitton Speedy in Monogram. But I really want to get one from this collection. But looking at the pieces and my list of wants, it’s more likely that I’m not getting one. I’m not that much into the neon thingy and besides I already have a Speedy and a bad experience with the Neverfull. So that leaves me with the Keepall, the pochette, and the wallet. Hmm… Though I love the Keepall, I’d rather spend my money on a bag that I will always bring along (not a luggage). As for the pochette and the wallet, I have other Louis Vuitton pouches and wallets in mind that I want to match with my bags. Thus, this collection is probably not meant for me. Too bad. But if you are a Louis Vuitton or handbag collector, this is a must-buy. This will surely become a collector’s item!
