My Dream Juicy Couture Velour Tracksuit and Other Finds

For so long I have been dreaming to buy a Juicy Couture Velour Tracksuit! Of course I know it’s quite pricey so I told myself that I have to prioritize other things first (like bags maybe? haha). However, last holiday season, Juicy Couture velour tracksuits were on sale… for like 30% off. They were on sale in their boutiques, online, at Nordstrom, Saks, and Neimans to name a few! So you can just imagine my delight! However, I was torn between Juicy Couture tracksuit or a Louis Vuitton pochette (haha, I know). So I told myself I’d skip on Juicy now and write it in my list of wants for next year. Hahaha. After all, there will always be Juicy Couture velour tracksuits and there will always be a sale next year. But then, we went to Desert Hill Premium Outlets (along with 2 other connecting outlets in Cabazon)…
Okay, it’s not as bad as you think. I was shocked to see a Juicy Couture outlet! It was the first time I found a Juicy Couture outlet! I was so delighted! And what was the sign on their window? It says additional 40% off everything! OMG! I have to go inside! This is such a bargain!!! Okay, just when I was about to step inside, the lady said, there is a line… which wasn’t that long coz I didn’t notice it. There were just about 4-5 people ahead of me. But after I left the store, the line grew longer. Good thing I was early.
It took me 2 hours to find a pair of my dream Juicy Couture velour tracksuits… I had wanted to get the forest green, but the bottoms left were all large (darn!). Then I wanted to get the teal… but again no size. It was so hard to decide! So what I did, I went through all the colors and all the designs just to get my size. Before I found my tracksuit, I already tried on a couple of sizes in their fitting room so I know that I’m a small for the Juicy Couture tops and medium for the Juicy Couture bottoms – not! Girls, beware! If you want to buy one, make sure to fit them. The size may differ on the styles they have. Like the one I got! Argh, I ended up buying a small velour hoodie and medium velour pants. I didn’t bother trying them on again because Hubby was already sleeping in the couch and I was too tired… When I went home, the medium was quite big! Arghh… but I just tried on the other style and medium was just right! Oh no… but it’s okay, my hips can hold it up so it could be a low waist bottom. Or I’ll just have to adjust it. No biggie. I still love it! It’s perfect… I don’t think the camera’s flash does justice to the black so I’ve added a side shot of me with my velour hoodie…
You’ll see the original price and the marked down price in the photo. But the final price is less 40% more from the marked down price! Good deal huh?
Well, I spent 2 hours (or even more) just finding my dream Juicy Couture velour tracksuit. So you can just imagine Hubby’s tired and sleepy face by then. Of course I had to stop looking but there were still tons of items to check out. So I asked him (politely) to line up and pay while I do a quick look at the rest of the Juicy Couture products. I have been longing to get a Juicy Couture charm bracelet but they ran out of stock, so the bracelet I ended up with were bangles instead. The original price of the Juicy Couture set of bangles was $72 but was marked down to $48 plus another 40% off!
And just as Hubby was paying, I got another item, a Juicy Couture undie, which wasn’t for me actually. I gave it to Denise. The underwear was originally $18 then marked down to $12 plus 40% off. So it’s a pretty good “pasalubong” for her
Plus, I got a discount coupon too for all the purchases made.
But I doubt I’ll be using that… enough spending for me…
xoxo
