This list is too broad but let’s just limit it to the most popular trends we’ve seen this year. While I might have missed a thing or two, I’m hoping I was able to include here all the wide-spread trends we’ve seen especially in celebrities. After all, you’re sure it’s a hot trend if you see one in Hollywood. 
This list covers shoes, labels, clothing, or even accessories and beauty products… So in case I missed something, just feel free to leave a comment and add something you think should have made it to Fashion Juice’s Top 5 Trends of 2008!
#5 Wide-leg pants and High-waisted bottoms
I also wanted to add skinny jeans here, but we all know skinny jeans or pants have been popular since 2005/2006 up until today. It never left, thus, I won’t be adding skinny jeans or pants here in this list. Instead, wide-leg pants and high-waisted bottoms, be it skirt, shorts, or pants, should make it to the top 5 trends of 2008. In 2008, wide-leg pants were re-born, and so were high-waisted stuff. Designers all have their versions of wide leg or high-waisted stuff in their collections. Thus, they deserve a spot in here.
#4 Maxi Dresses
If you have been a follower of the Fashion Juice website, you’ll know how Fashion Juice got obsessed with maxi dresses last spring and summer. Celebrities loved wearing them going around L.A.. I mean, who wouldn’t enjoy such a flowing, comfy dress… something you can just get into and you’re done. No long hours of thinking what to pair with because it’s just one piece! Just wear your sandals and grab your bag and you’re okay! Great for the beach, for errands, for shopping, for afternoon cocktails, and so on…
#3 Gladiator Shoes and Tory Burch flats (sandals or ballet flats)
Of course, what better shoe to match the maxi dress than gladiator shoes? Of course, others preferred the flat thong sandals from Tory Burch or the ballet flats (Reva flats) that she has made popular. Wear them with short dresses, pants, shorts, skirts, or what have you’s!
#2 EDGY LOOK – Blazers, Motorcycle Jackets, Vests, Liquid Leggings, Leather
Edgy looks were so hot in 2008. Thus, the perfect accessory to an edgy look? Black boyfriend blazers, piped blazers, motorcycle jackets, and vests make one look masculine-ish. Add to that liquid or rubber leggings or leather stuff like skirts, pants, and jackets, and you complete the edgy or fierce look.
#1 Chanel Flap Bags
This has to be Fashion Juice’s number 1 – without a doubt. I know I’m biased because of my love for Chanel bags. But, come on, look at the bags Hollywood celebrities are holding? Most of them carry chanel all the time. Hehe. Just watching Gossip Girl, The Hills, Red Carpet Events, 90210, or just watching Fashion news, you’ll notice that you’ll find Chanel bag almost everywhere! Thus, it has become one of the most coveted bags of 2008! I know Chanel has been here for years, but I have to say 2008 has become the year of the Chanel Flap Bag Fever!
