It’s just four days to go before the Big Christmas Day and before my birthday, of course . I know I’ve been emphasizing it a lot lately because you might want to send me a gift. Haha! I’m just kidding. But anyway, by now you should have already finished your Holiday shopping because it’s already the week of the most awaited Christmas Day! For some, and probably for most kids, Christmas is that special time of the year that they look forward too. They look forward to not only the presents, but look forward to the festivities and trips or gatherings…

As for Hubby and I, we will be spending our Christmas in California! Yay! A big yay because we get to go around L.A. doing… what I do best? Shopping? Haha… well not really. We’re here to celebrate Christmas with our family and friends from California. In fact, we’re here for a lot of things. First, Hubby has to take care of some things here (while I do the shopping??? Haha). Second, we’re also on Holiday vacation. Third, we want to celebrate it with dear family and friends whom we haven’t seen for years. Fourth, we’re here on a ROAD TRIP! YEAH! You can do whatever you want on your Holiday break. It’s up to you on how you want to make it special. So today, we are making our Christmas Vacation a grand adventure.

By now, we’ve probably passed by Rio Grande in New Mexico and probably left Arizona (from viewing and taking pictures of the Grand Canyons)! And now, we’re probably in Vegas for some sight-seeing, taking pictures, and partying or gambling (???) with our friend(s). :) Then, we’re off to L.A. where we will be celebrating the Holidays with family. Of course, it’s no surprise that Fashion Juice will be dropping by Balenciaga, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Fred Segal’s, and many other much-loved stores during our L.A. trip. Oh, and H&M because Texas doesn’t have one yet! It’s the trip of a lifetime! Haha… well, it would be only if I had loads of moolah to splurge. But I’m not that naive to just spend them on bags of course.

I’ve done pretty different things each Christmas… let’s see. Well, for the last two years, I’ve been spending Christmas with my in-laws, relatives, and friends in the US. Thanks to them, Christmas isn’t that bad even if I’m far away from home and not spending it with my mom, dad, and other family and friends for the first time.

A couple of years back, it would be Birthday celebrations everywhere… In 2005, I’ve celebrated it with my closest friends at Tiendesitas, and with my closest friends again at Club 205, with my office friends at Kwang Tong, and with my other officemates in our office pantry, and with family at home. As I’ve mentioned in my previous post, it has been a yearly tradition to hold the Christmas party at our place as it also serves as a family reunion.

Now, more rewind… I’ve also had birthday celebrations out of the country such as in Hong Kong but just with my family. Of course, shopping was in the list. There were also Christmas celebrations where I celebrated it with kids at an orphanage (because I’m not all about shopping for myself, you know, hehe). Of course, there were also Christmases that I’ve spent with dear classmates back in school and some of my other barkada’s way back.
