Madonna for Louis Vuitton Campaign

Finally, Louis Vuitton released a couple of photos from their latest campaign featuring Madonna.
I will actually have to edit the old post about this campaign mentioning that Madonna earns $10 Mil for this. According to Marc Jacobs, the price is “very far away from that figure”. After all, she doesn’t really need the cash, right? Anyway, check out the gorgeous pieces from Louis Vuitton. I can’t wait to see them online and especially in real life. I am loving the shoes and the jacket! Marc Jacobs said it all came together when he was at a meeting to brainstorm ideas for the next ad campaign, he still had a hang over of the Madonna concert he saw the night before. “I just blurted out, I think we should do Madonna,’” Marc Jacobs said. So he sent Madonna a text message that exact moment, and in just five minutes, she texted back, “I’d love to.” It’s that easy! The photos were shot by Steven Meisel, and they exude a Parisian bistro albeit they were taken at a restaurant in L.A., in Figaro at North Vermont Avenue, to be exact.
According to WWD: The first visuals will spotlight slouchy bags in monogram canvas and monogram-embossed leather, along with ethnic-inspired sandals, bangles and sexy ready-to-wear. In tandem, Vuitton will continue to run its “core values” campaign, with spots featuring Sean Connery, the latest celebrity spokesman, continuing into next year. Analysts have estimated Vuitton spends more than $250 million annually on advertising, most of it print-driven.
