Red and Black Number for the Holidays

Posted on December 6th, 2008 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | Leave a Comment »

Again, pardon my obsession with Polyvore, but it’s really fun and addicting to create numerous outfits in their website. Here, I’m featuring a red and black number that can be perfect for the holidays. What’s also great about this outfit is that this is what one may call “Casual goes Evening”. As you can see, I’ve used a white tank to top of a dressy skirt. Well, this is not something new as you’ve probably seen countless of celebrities donning white tank tops with their tailored skirts and suits. Yup, the white tank has been taken to greater heights. It is an essential wardrobe one MUST have. And I say MUST! Perhaps I need to feature a selection of WARDROBE Must Have’s someday… once I get the chance. Because again, all my posts published in the morning are all scheduled posts. I do the writing at night before I go to bed since I keep away from the Internet during the morning to be able to complete my projects on time. Hehe! :) Anyway, enjoy the outfit I’ve created below, the Red and Black Number for the Holidays!

Madonna for Louis Vuitton Campaign

Posted on December 6th, 2008 by Fashion Juice (Admin) | 1 Comment »

Finally, Louis Vuitton released a couple of photos from their latest campaign featuring Madonna.

Madonna for Louis Vuitton I will actually have to edit the old post about this campaign mentioning that Madonna earns $10 Mil for this. According to Marc Jacobs, the price is “very far away from that figure”. After all, she doesn’t really need the cash, right? Anyway, check out the gorgeous pieces from Louis Vuitton. I can’t wait to see them online and especially in real life. I am loving the shoes and the jacket! Marc Jacobs said it all came together when he was at a meeting to brainstorm ideas for the next ad campaign, he still had a hang over of the Madonna concert he saw the night before. “I just blurted out, I think we should do Madonna,’” Marc Jacobs said. So he sent Madonna a text message that exact moment, and in just five minutes, she texted back, “I’d love to.” It’s that easy! The photos were shot by Steven Meisel, and they exude a Parisian bistro albeit they were taken at a restaurant in L.A., in Figaro at North Vermont Avenue, to be exact.
