This is funny actually because just before I started this post, I was writing about Christmas Decors from Designer Blooms. But in that post, I first started with the things I miss the most about Christmas Holidays in the Philippines before I get to designing for Christmas Holidays in particular.

As I was typing away, I noticed how the post got longer and longer without even starting to write about the topic itself. Haha! Perhaps I got all too excited! Thus, I decided to write the things I miss about Christmas Holidays in the Philippines on a separate post. After all, it deserves to have an entry of its own, especially that the list continues to grow as I type to this very moment. Haha. Christmas Decors from Designer Blooms

I previously mentioned in my other post about Rajo Laurel and on how his blog has made me miss a lot of things from Manila. You’re right. As the title implies, this post is about missing Christmas and holiday decors in the Philippines.

There are so many things to miss about Christmas in the Philippines and one of them is probably decorating the house for Christmas. But before I start talking about my Designer Blooms Christmas Decors splurge, I’d like to share all the things (that I remember) I miss in the Philippines during the holidays first. Those who don’t know or haven’t been in the Philippines maybe surprised that there are a lot of things going on in my beloved country. This also serves as a refresher to my fellow Filipinos who haven’t been in the country for so many years. This list is in no order. I just type in what I remember.

One of the fashionable colors, must I say, is mustard yellow. It brings out luscious handbags to life! That’s why I’ve chosen this yellow Balenciaga crocodile leather in mustard, matched with L.A.M.B.’s gorgeous booties! Now you know what to give me for Christmas and my Birthday. Haha! Anyway, I’ve put together this outfit as a casual look (even if there’s a shiny Donna Karan Cashmere top included) but perhaps will be wearing something like it on a Sunday. Why? Let me reveal a secret I’ve been keeping.

Hooked to Polyvore

I am hooked to Polyvore. I recently discovered the website… well it’s pretty much like Shopstyle – the one I use for featuring items in my blog. An example would be my post about My Christian Louboutin Wishlist. Anyway, it’s just the same except that I find Polyvore to be much user friendly. That’s why now I’m hooked to creating several sets of outfits that I would love to have. Well, I think it will keep me sane because rather than obsessing on getting Chanel’s and Louboutin’s in real life, I get my satisfaction by using them to create an online outfit. I can choose whatever I want no matter how expensive they can be and include them in my set. At the same time, it’s a great tool to use for featuring items in my site. In short, it’s a great blogging tool. So if you have a blog yourself, then you should check it out yourself. Otherwise, it’s always fun to just play around and see what goes well with what, so you know what wardrobe you lack or what outfit you’ll wear on your next party.

Karolina Kurkova and Victoria’s Secret 2008 Fashion Show

Did you fashionistas watch the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show? Well I hope you did because it was far better off than last year! The first walk was awesome with Usher singing as the ladies, or I mean the Angels, strutted their stuff on the runway. I soooo love Adriana Lima. Sure, Ale (Alessandra Ambrosio) and Selita have lovely faces, but Adriana projects that beauty from within. She’s got that attitude that I really admire. And I’m really happy that she’s leading the Victoria’s Secret Angels now. She even wore the million dollar Victoria’s Secret bra! So anyway, I’m here to talk about Karolina Kurkova.
