Non-Traditional, Traditional Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a yearly tradition that Americans celebrate every November. It was in 1621 that the first American Thanksgiving was celebrated to commemorate the harvest reaped by the Plymouth Colony after a harsh winter. After that, the other colonies started celebrating Thanksgiving after fall harvests. Back then however, the thirteen colonies did not celebrate Thanksgiving at the same time up until October of year 1777. It was George Washington who declared it a Holiday back in 1789. In 1863, Abraham Lincoln declared the last Thursday of November a day of Thanksgiving to unite the nation. From 1939 to 1941, Franklin D. Roosevelt wanted to lengthen the Christmas shopping season so he proclaimed the third Thursday in November as Thanksgiving Day. After that, Congress passed a joint resolution that Thanksgiving should be celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November where it remains to date. Now that we’re done with a bit of history, let me share with you our Thanksgiving dinner the non-traditional, traditional way.

Juicy Couture Velour Tracksuits

Once more I am dwelling on Juicy Couture stuff. In the US, it’s pretty common to see people going to the malls or grocery shopping in matching track suits. Unlike in other countries, people in the US find tracksuits so functional when running errands and the like. They DONT look at it as something to wear ONLY at home or for lounging or for walking or jogging.

The matching tracksuits, specifically velour tracksuits are great pieces to wear when you’re on the go… like going to the grocery, going to the bank, grabbing coffee, and going Christmas shopping. After all, they’re pretty fashionable even for a tracksuit. Velour tracksuits are so comfy and yet they still look stylish. And what better way to wear velour tracksuits than by wearing those from Juicy Couture. Let me show you some of the velour tracksuits they have, including the prices. The one on the right is the Grant Color or the brown one. It comes in red monogram which makes me think it would be a perfect tracksuit to match the Damier Ebony bags of Louis Vuitton. Haha. Chanel Cruise 2009 Accessories and Prices

Of course I have to complete everything, right? Even if it took me a lot of hours to complete this Chanel Cruise 2009 Collection Feature, I had to do it for all of you readers… as a thank you (in tune with the Thanksgiving Holidays). I know it’s a pain to go to the Chanel website and not see the prices there. But I know this isn’t even everything Chanel has and not the classics that most people would like to know about.
