Last Friday afternoon, I was so delighted to hear a knock on our door. Guess who it is? It’s Mario. Haha. I mean it’s my Mario Badescu beauty product brought in by the UPS guy. I love Mario Badescu beauty products and skin care because they really are effective. I first read about it in a magazine. Seems like a lot of Hollywood celebs are using the product to clear their skin… and when a pimple pops out, it’ll be gone the next morning. So it got me curious…

I’ve actually written a couple of posts about Mario Badescu previously. I first went to Mario Badescu online and answered their questionnaire to help me know more about my skin type and what I need to use to clean and moisturize my face. A couple of days later, Mario Badescu sent me a package – full of goodies! Yay! I was so delighted. I loved everything in it. It’s a set of facial care / beauty products like facial cleanser, toner, moisturizer, scrub, mask, and even an eye cream. After finishing all of them up, I decided to get a drying lotion – their most popular product and an amazing miracle at that. It’s what people, including celebrities, use to dry out pimples and break outs.

I myself do breakout (forehead) once in a while – especially that I have bangs. It’s not the usual pimples but white heads which are trapped dirt under the skin. My skin gets irritated by the hair easily (whatever shampoo I use). And the bad thing about it is that I can’t help but scratch or touch it when I feel the bumps (a bad habit of mine) – resulting to redness! So, it’s important that I get that skin care product so I won’t have to touch or pressure my forehead. Hehe! Going back, when my Mario Badescu Drying Lotion arrived in the mail, it again came with a skin care system in the same cute pouch. Oh, Mario Badescu is really generous. Now that I’ve used up my drying lotion and the free big-sized ProActive 3-pc system has almost gone dry, it’s time to purchase my Mario Badescu once more although now, I’ve decided to purchase more…

I got the Special Cleansing Lotion “C”. I also got an anti-acne facial cleanser, the drying lotion, and the anti-acne serum to prevent oil build-up that leads to acne such as white heads or black heads. Acne is not just pimples or zits but comes in many forms – white heads, black heads, pustules, etc. I won’t go into details here but perhaps a visit to Mario Badescu’s website will help.
