Collecting Bags and Upgrading Cars

I know the two doesn’t really go together but the truth is, they do. Collecting bags and upgrading cars are what Hubby and I love doing the most. Don’t think of us as negative coz each person has his or her own hobbies or vices and probably you have something you like doing or collecting too. You can be the gadget guy or the music lover. You may have your collection of shoes, wine, DVDs, Blu-Ray Discs, Console games, etc. You may be drinking beer every day after work or dining out at fancy places. In fact, you may be too rich that you collect houses or vintage cars, for example. It could even be chocolates, books, stamps, or magazines.
Whatever it is, each person has this certain indulgence. For Hubby, it’s about upgrading his EVO IX MR. As for me, it’s all about collecting Designer bags. But for us, it’s all about give and take. Alternate is key.
By the way, the photo of the cars above is from our recent BBQ meet. Our EVO is the 7th car from the right. It’s funny because we were one of the only 2 cars who had their Tags (License Plates) on.
LV is the Next Purchase
Since I recently made my Chanel purchase, it’s Hubby’s turn. We have been waiting for his next upgrade but it was still out of stock. On the other hand, I told myself that I’d skip on the Chanel Flap or GST for now since that price range is too much. Thus, my next bag would be Louis Vuitton. I have several other labels in mind, but I’m prioritizing LV and Chanel for now. For weeks I have been thinking of my next LV purchase (even if it’s not my turn yet). And after some thought, I decided it would be… I won’t tell but it is surely a hot buy that Louis Vuitton may ran out of stock soon. Oh the fear and worry! LOL! So what if I just return my Gucci sunglasses, my… my… etc… HAHA… Let me hold that thought for now.
Hubby’s Excel Sheet
Now, hubby already created an Excel sheet containing a list of upgrades for his beloved car. Haha! He wrote down the name of the upgrade, the price, the brand he’ll get, and the photo of the item. It was really funny (but I’m thinking of doing the same). He’ll get a lot of upgrades this time coz he needs to match the amount of the Chanel bag I purchased. It’s a fair game. Haha! Now, he’s so excited. The good news for him is, the first upgrade he’s getting is already in stock coz he talked to the seller yesterday and said it’s now available for pre-order. He purchased his upgrade yesterday and he was told it will likely arrive in 7-10 days. We’re both excited! So until then…
The Collections
I know they’re not a lot for a collector but I’m getting there – slowly but surely… hahaha! Note the Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 was exchanged for a 30.
By the way, I normally don’t post photos or share my purchases… However, please understand that this is my collection just like one would collect art pieces, porcelain, jewelry, etc. I only started taking photos of my bag since I joined the Purse Blog Forum. The lovely members of that Forum share photos and information about their bags and they’re happy to read other member’s purchases too. So again I hope you won’t think of this as negative and I hope just like them, you’ll be happy for me too. I work hard for these gorgeous bags aside from what I earn for our basic necessities and for charity.
The rest of the bags I have… not including those I left in Manila (disposed)
I’m not showing the orange bag on the last photo. It’s an Oprah freebie bag. I just use it to put the other fabric bags and pouches I have…
